Crossroads Inn, Corinth

This has to be the worst hotel/motel stay in my life! Starting with our check in when we were chastised for needing double beds when there were only two of us!?!? Please do not count on receiving any of the amenities listed on their web site. Our supposedly NO SMOKING room had an ashtray and ashes all over the slimy carpet and, the place reeked of smoke in addition to the other foul (body fluids?) odors. There was no toilet paper in the room when we arrived although we were given one roll when we complained. There was a coffee maker but NO coffee? NO iron & No ironing board in the room. The room was FULL of flies and we were told “Yea that’s because of all the rain we are having” with no other consolation other than “SORRY”! No alarm clock! No liner for the ice bucket! One Ice machine BIN with the scoop on the FLOOR! Received one brass key as well as the tape-repaired TV remote at check in! If there is High-Speed Internet it was not in the room! No Gravy for the Biscuits! WE endured TWO nights in this abomination with no room cleaning on the second day and, when we went for clean towels and soap we were told, “well I don’t know if we have any”. DO NOT make the mistake of booking these rooms and then finding out that this is all true as there are NO REFUNDS just as one tired trucker found out to his dismay when he came back disgusted to the front desk while we were still checking in. CAUTION! CAUTION! We had dire commitments and a limited budget for our stay in Corinth MS otherwise we would not have stayed and certainly never will again! NASTY! FILTHY!
