An overpriced DUMP! (but food's great.)

Food’s great; Hotel’s a DUMP!

If you like a clean, modern building, this is not the place for you. I would not stay here again even if it were free.

We would have left if it were not the site of our family reunion. If making group reservations, insist on seeing more than a couple of (ringer) rooms.

Problem areas include:
Over priced.
Water stains on ceilings.
Water stains in bathrooms.
Air conditioning defective for our entire 4-day stay.
Pool closed for our entire 4-day stay.
Potholes in parking lot.
No internet.

The first reviewer was correct, this was a great place ten years ago when it was part of a national chain.

The 5 Star Hotel that Wasn't

Whom ever rated this hotel as a 5 star hotel either has not been there in several years or took a huge payoff. The location is convienient for the most part but the service and amenities are sorely lacking. The rooms are advertised , at least on one major travel site, to have refrigerators, microwaves, etc, well we did not have them in our room. The second day, supposedly a pipe burst (in spring?)and they were unable to open the restaurant for lunch and made no effort to bring in even sandwiches or cold cuts for the people attending the meeting there. There were no pillow cases on the pillows the second day at lunch time, after they had serviced the room, and calls to housekeeping failed to produce any by 6:00pm this evening, I can only hope that eventually some will be brought.I can only imagine what the rest of the evening will bring.
