shady deal,,,,i always loved staying there but best western never gave the free night that they advertise ,,,the baluxi owner will say they have nothing to do with that stay 2 or stay three to get one free ,,its a company deal and i never got it even if i stay 3 in a roll during the advertised time,,,its a scam,,,,go to choice prvlg hotels if you want points

This was a surprisingly nice stay. Perfect location, right across from Beau Rivage and $5 cab ride to the IP for a concert. The room was very clean and well taken care of. I will most definitely stay here again. Also, I didn't have time for the pool, but it was very nice and clean!!

I loved everything about the hotel! Very comfortable and clean...! It was close to the beach and walking distance!

I LOVE THIS HOTEL!!

I am 42 yo and we used to stay at this hotel when I was a TODDLER and altho it's been remodeled this is still MY MOST FAVORITE HOTEL ON THE PLANET! God I wish I had pics of the old black spiral staircase! And the old pool w/kiddie pool attached! TG Hurricane Camile of '69 didn't blow it away!! DOV: 1968-1973

Great Place to Stay

The rooms were very clean, comfortable & with all amenities, made a great place to stay. Although the room rate was more than we normally pay for Cruisin' the Coast($286 for 2 nites)having the breakfast room was real plus. The lady-in-charge of serving everyone is an asset! Great personality & service. We normally stay further west, near Edgewater Mall, Coliseum. Due to Katrina, we got reservation in April, before anyone knew what would be open &/or available. This year convenient location didn't count. Our parking lot was virtually a car show by itself. Glad to see MS is on road to recovery!
