one of the best hotels we have stayed at

when we got there the staff at the front desk was really nice. when we got to our room, i was wow, we had 6 people with us and for the price we paid i sure got my moneys worth. plenty of room for all of us plus all the stuff we had gotten from the mall. the breakfast was one of the best ones i have ever seen. hot food was a big plus. lobby was beautiful. the only thing i didnt like was the housekeeping. i use to be a housekeeper and i know how to clean a room. the first day after we came back from our shopping we saw all the dirty towels we put on the floor hung back up behind the door. our breakfast tray with dirty dishes was still left in the room. i had went to the front desk to let them know what had happened and within 10 mins it was taken care of and we had fresh towels. same thing happened the next day as well but just with the dishes and they came up rite away to get them. the only thing that i would like to see is have a kiddie pool for the younger kids. all in all the staff was great and very helpful when we needed something or to find a place to go. they even printed us out maps to help us find the places we wanted to go. i will be coming back again next year and staying here.

Untrustworthy and Impolite staff

Left beautiful diamond necklace on hotel counter, housekeeping stole it. Staff was very rude, impolite and unwilling to help. I do not reccomend this hotel unless you like worrying about your personal belongings being stolen. I now have to file an insurance claim through the hotel. I feel very violated and that I ridiculously overspent on this hotel visit for what i got in return. My family, friends or myself will not ever pay to stay in the embassy sweets hotel in bloomington again.

Worst Hotel I've staying in

We had booked 5 suites in this hotel.. every single one of them smelt like B.O. When we went down to the front desk they said they would come up with some air fresheners, they never did. They were VERY expensive ($180 a night), and internet is another $10 for 24 hours. Front desk was Insanely rude. When we went to check out we wanted to pay cash, the guy at the front desk didn't want us to pay cash, finally we told him its either that or we are not paying for our room. Breakfast tasted good, but get up super early otherwise there is a huge line up. The pool is not kid friendly, so don't bring your kids there. It has a really deep end, which is good for adults. I would never stay here again, front desk was so rude every time we tried to talk to them.

Awesome Experiance

It had awesome service, the rooms are great. It is such a beautiful hotel. It has kind of a Mexico feel to it. When you first walk in you are kind of like "wow" It is kind of hard to find, but overall I would for sure recommend it.

i think this is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in!!! i went there for a family birthday party. little did we know there was 2 hotels in bloomington and we stayed at the wrong one!! the service was great because they had no problem swiching us!!i had 3 teenagers and all of them loved it and want to go there for their birthday!!and it is very close to M.O.A., so if you go there makesure your staying in the right one!!

Great Family getaway!!!

If you want a great getaway, especially in the winter, this is a great place for a long weekend vacation. With a free shuttle to the Mall of America, made-to-order breakfast, and manager's reception in the afternoon, practically all you could want is right here waiting for you. If you purchase the family pack that comes with pizza and pop for supper, it's actually less expensive in most cases. Exercise in their facaility while watching the beauty of the night with all the city lights light up, and you have yourself a fun getaway, great food, healthy living, and TONS OF FUN waiting for you with the Mall of America so close by. We do this little vacation every year and our kids LOVE IT!!!

Great Hotel Near MOA

Originally we reserved a room at the Ramada. After driving 6 hours and getting there before check in they would not allow us to check in. We drove over to Embassy and they welcomed us with open arms. For just $20 more we had a suit with a sperate living room area. My 6 yeah old loved have her own space. Happy hour was nice and the breakfast in the morning was great. Much better than a plain continental breakfast you get at most hotels. The assorment was great. I will always look for an Embassy Suites when travelling in the future! Only bad thing is that they did not have FREE internet in the room. But they did have a internet kiosk in the lobby.

Excellent Customor Service

My mother, sister, and I went to minneapolis in March and stayed at the embassy suite bloomington for 3days.From the moment we walked in the staff services was very excellent they greeted us with a friendly smile and offered to take our luggage to our rooms. Rooms were very nice and clean, the evening reception was outstanding not to mention the satisfying cooked to order breakfast. Location was very convenient and close to the MOA and other area attractions. Every day the staff offered suggestions and how to get from one place to the other and would have a cab waiting for us. Each evening as we walked in from our long day adventures They would ask how our day went. I would definately go back and stay here This was one outstanding Hotel that strives on customer satisfaction

LOVE THE OMLETTE GUYS

THERE WAS NOTHING I DIDN'T LIKE. (WELL, EXCEPT THE SHOWER DIDN'T SEEM TO HAVE MUCH PRESSURE) OTHERWISE, THIS IS MY FIRST REVIEW I'VE EVER WROTE. THIS IS MY THIRD VISIT TO THIS HOTEL AS MY HUSBANDS COMPANY HAS TAKEN US THERE TO STAY THE PAST THREE YEARS. OUR HOTEL ROOM WAS IMMACULATE WITH LOTS OF PILLOWS AND VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS...NOT EVEN A FLY TO BE FOUND DURING THIS FLY SEASON. THE LOBBY WHICH OF COURSE CAN BE SEEN FROM ALL ROOMS IS VERY CHARMING. YOU FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE EVEN SITTING IN THE LOBBY WITH TOTAL STRANGERS. MY FAVORITE THINGS I HAVE TO SAY ARE THE PEACH JUICE (A MUST TRY) AND THE OMLETTE GUYS! THESE SAME 2 GENTLEMEN HAVE BEEN THERE EACH YEAR AND ARE VERY POLITE, CLEAN AND EFFICIENT. ALWAYS A HI HOW ARE YOU TODAY WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE. I WATCHED WHEN BREAKFAST WAS OVER AND THEY WASH DOWN EVERYTHING EACH TIME DOWN TO THE WALLS AND FLOORS BEHIND THE GRILLS AND CAN STILL TELL SOMEONE WALKING BY HAVE A GREAT DAY WHILE THEY ARE CLEANING. KUDOS TO YOU ALL FOR HIRING THEM.
