Days Inn, Flint

An ill-kept, nasty motel that made us feel like we needed a Lysol bath after staying there. It gives the Days Inn chain a bad name.

The staff was horrible. No free breakfast, pool not in working ordering, piss warm water from the shower, mildew on and around tub, noisey, no privacy, to high priced for condition, do not recommend to anyone!!!!!

My family had three rooms reserved with a guaranteed reservation. We were coming from my brothers wedding and didn't arrive until about 1:00 am. When we got to the front desk we told the employee our name. He looked at a piece of paper for a second and then told us our rooms were cancelled. He didn't offer us an alternative plan or a phone or anything. He said there wasn't a manager available. Very unhelpful. Aside from that, right next to the front desk is a bar with a pool table. It was very loud and smoky (like a bar). Right after the employee stopped helping us, another guest had come to the desk to complain that his room smelled bad and that the sheets and towels were dirty. If you don't like bad service and dirty rooms, then don't bother with this hotel.

1: The room was dirty with ketchup ( maybe blood ) all over the walls from who knows how long. 2. The beds were old box spring mattresses that had no support and no fitted sheets and were incredibly stained. 3. When we booked the room they failed to tell us the pool was closed. 4. If you need ice you have to go the front desk and wake up the man sleeping near the entrance to get you some ( if its late at night ) otherwise you can get it from the bar. 5.In our 2 week stay the room was cleaned twice. 6. If we called for fresh towels and washcloths we were told to come to the laundry room to get them .
