worst hotel ever

My husband and I stayed here in August and this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was extremely dirty and the service was horrible. We will never stay at a Howard Johnson again!

WE HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR MANY YEARS EVERY TIME WE COME BACK THE SERVICE AND FACILITY GETS WORSE SO WE DECIDED TO BOOK AT THE BAYMONT AND NOT RETURN HERE

Overpriced dump!

Hotel in need of repairs and upgrades around the entrance, lobby, and restaurant area. Needs new carpet and paint job. Tall weeds growing in the landscaping and the lawn around the pool was in need of mowing. The room was clean and their breakfast was good, but they charged $85 a night. This hotel should be charging no more than $55 a night.

Mom's group for shopping weekend

Not very clean. Looks like it was revamped 15yrs. ago but not very well. Breakfast was lousy. Had the so called suite was roomy but needed cleaning.

conviently located to the freeways and the room is clean and in good shape. we had to pay extra to have a mini refrigerator and a microwave for an extra $8 a day.

overcharged me

They over charge me. Charged me $100.00 for a king bed non smoking for my wife and I. Called them when I returned home. "They will look into it".

Service better than expected

Our baseball team had reserved rooms for our July 4th tournament in Battle Creek. Just before traveling, we checked information online regarding the hotel. We were concerned with the reviews that we had read, but could not make alternate hotel/motel plans. The service at check-in was very good. The woman working behind the counter was helpful and courteous. We experienced a problem at check-out, but we are happy to report that the service from the employees was very helpful and again courteous. It is not a 5 star hotel, but the staff was very helpful and courteous.

Cancelled Reservations at front desk!

Walked into the front desk at noon. No one else around except for girl with piercings and manager behind desk. After waiting over 5 minutes for them to finish their conversation, the extremely rude pierced lady asked if she could help. I told her my name and was told that we could not check in until after 4pm. She was extremely rude, and neither her nor the manager even acknowledged our presence until after they finished their conversation. VERY bad first impression, VERY rude people. I cancelled my reservation because of the way I was treated and the fact that I couldn't check in until after 4. From what I saw of the grounds and the lobby, it didn't really look like it was the kind of place I wanted to stay anyway. Trash and debris all over the yard, seperate building for the "indoor" pool, and it just looked like it was in a state of disrepair.
