We can't wait to find a different hotel!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/05/09
This hotel was so bad. Not only was the pool out of service, so was the cable, and there is no play room for kids. Says you get a fridge in your room, but you don't! Definitely not a place for children. Many drunk people going in and out of building to smoke, doors not locked, anyone can come in. Drug dealing happening right in the parking lot, and drug doing. Also, if you don't want the maids in your room, and place the do not disturb on your door, they come in anyway, so don't leave anything in the room while you go out!

Great weekend stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/06/08
In contrast to other reviews, we found the rooms to be clean and large. The football weekend package was great. In other words, we have no complaints about this experience. The facilities are old and do need renovation, as do the grounds, but it was not a problem.

Never, Ever Again
By JENNIFER, 03/17/08
The dirtiest hotel I have ever seen: toilets did not flush, the staff was rude, swimming pool was disgusting, hot tub was out of order, ceilings leaked, silverware was filthy, the list goes on and on. How is this place still open?

NASTY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/08
The place is a dump!!! I wouldn't let my fish swim in that pool....dirty....smelly hot rooms.....place needs a lot of work. The lobby fools you though, it's nice, but then you walk back and get in your room, just gross....I would never stay there again!!!

YUCK!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/07
The front desk staff was great except for the managers on duty who were having a loud and unprofessional personal conversation in a back office behind the front desk! You could hear every word! The rooms are hot and smelly.I was told we get a free brekfast but at check in we were told to buy tickets for five dollars, which we did but the staff in the restraunt told us it is included with our stay! NEVER will our family stay at this old hotel again!

Avoid this hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/07
I travel extensively for work. This is a very tired, low quality property. The night I stayed there the air conditioning was broken in all the rooms. The meeting room was dark because the recessed floodlights had been replaced by standard light bulbs. Some of the bulbs were burned out and I requested replacement. It never happened. After one night, I moved to another hotel. Lansing has many similarly priced higher quality alternatives.

Place needs work!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/17/07
Rooms need up dating, night I stayed there phones not working, alarm clock not working, no refrigertor in room as told, swimming pool down. Wall paper taped to wall. Red Roof across the street, in better shape and cheaper.

Should be $50 a night, not $100!!!
By Christina, 02/03/07
I would never stay here again, not only was the lobby being remodeled and the front desk was located in a corner office, the place looked terrible. The pictures online are very misleading, the outside of the hotel looked very old and dingy. The rooms are very outdated, the bathroom reminded me of one from a one star motel, small, holes in the wall were something once hung, old shower curtain....YUCK!!!...my first floor sliding glass door looked 20yrs old. took several hours to get the room to a comfortable temp, was very cold when I walked in. Everything in the room was old.... the good things...well....the hotel staff were very friendly and nice, the bed was comfortable to sleep on. the room price should be $50, not $100.
