I HAD FUN
By Nickee, 08/06/06
IF YOUR LIKE ME AND LIKE A ROOM WITH A JACUZZI THAN THIS IS A SPOT FOR YOU. IF YOUR INTO A LOT OF POSITIONS. THERE IS EVEN A POLE IN THE FRONT IN BACK TO HOLD ONTO. I SAY THIS IS A MUST VISIT.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/29/06
i liked the cleaningness of this being a inn and not a hotel. I had a great time. at first i was kind of opstamistic about the place but what changed my mind the good helpful and kind services. The room was very nice and kept in good shap.

I should have kept driving
By Patrick, 11/03/05
This was a bad experience. I was driving all day and tired and was close to where I needed to be for the next day and took the first name brand hotel I saw. Big mistake. They don't take AMEX, the pool was closed (I wouldn't have used it anyway) no internet access. Mold everywhere. No breakfast the next morning. Towels were scratchy and no list of tv channels. The desk person in the evening was busy talking on the telephone on a personal call. The girl in the morning was efficient but hardly charming. They even would have charged for a local call. The place was a dump. And then the next morning, less than a mile further east I find a very nice looking hotel.

Appearances are deceiving
By greg, 07/20/05
There is a nice pool in the front, a new facade for the rooms facing Michigan Ave. I ended up with a jacuzzi room way in the back of the complex, that resembled a Motel 6. Peeling wallpaper exposing moldy concrete peppered my room. Dried candle wax was imbedded in the carpet and spilled on the entertainment center. There was no way of controlling the room temperature. The jacuzzi was missing air adjustment valves, so the unit sounded like a freight train. The sliding door tracks for the jacuzzi were moldy. The little red ants loved the area by the broken coffee machine and no idea where the little worms around the tub came from. No ice machines to be found. I was locked out of my room when my pass key stopped working, along with another guest with the same problem. In defense of the Quality Inn breakfast that was referred to in a previous review, the hotel only offers a continental breakfast, that pretty much consists of cereal, muffins and coffee. The Mercury Coffee shop or Leons is good bet for breakfast. All in all, $90 a night was not worth it. On a postive note, the front desk was friendly.

Terrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/31/05
Our room was not clean. The sheet would not stay on the bed. My husband got scabies.

Good hotel, breakfast needs more variety
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/30/04
I liked the room. it was cleaned everyday. But i found an old bottle of gatorade in the fridge!. The towels were changed everyday. The breakfast is free, but its just milk, juice, cereals, and bread. I would´ve liked some eggs or bacon or pancakes. The location is very good. I visited the HF museum which is VERY close, so is a huge shopping mall. I liked the location, the only gripe is the lackluster breakfast...I would go there again!
