Wonderfully run family operation

I am always somewhat apprehensive about selecting a motel on line. I did read reviews ahead of time and guess I never know what to expect. This was located right off of Route 6 and easily accessible. Front clerk was very friendly and by day 2 I was greeted by my first name which made me feel welcomed. Warm cookies are served every afternoon which was a hit with my daughter. The outdoor pool was not crowded and the guests were all friendly as well. This is definitely a wonderfully run hotel. We purchased the breakfast voucher deal which I would higly recommend. The hash was out of this world. Cannot wait to come back, for a much longer visit! Thank you!!!!

totally, absolutely the cleanest. room size was excellent, staff friendly, will 100% be going back...being going to the cape for over 30 years one of best places i ever stayed

We always stay here

My family and I have stayed at the Wellfleet Motel and Motor Lodge for the past several years and have found it consistently good. The rooms are big and clean and we like that there is both an indoor and outdoor pool, so if it's raining, we can still swim. It's nice and quiet-- we haven't run into any noisy families or parties. It's really close to the drive-in and flea market. It's a bit of a drive to Wellfleet Center, but that's OK. The price is also good compared to other hotels in the area.

This was an AMAZING motel and lodge, I had the best vacation of my life here. All of the people were so kind and caring. I love Harrigan's Cafe, the food is spectacular and definatley one of a kind. If you have to stay at a motel- this is the place!

Great location

Motel looked a bit iffy when we pulled in, but the rooms were clean, large and the location can't be beat. The absolute only issue we had was that we spotted a couple of ants in the bathroom which was no big deal. Other than that, the rooms and the bathroom were spotless and didn't have that musty Cape smell. The mattress was so-so but I'm picky. Super pancakes and nice breakfast area that includes a patio. Pool areas were clean and nice. A step above the usual motel and super close to the National Seashore. If you like biking, the bike trail begins right at the end of the motel units. We will go back again and I highly recommend it.

Just wanted to let you know that your Motel is all that we expected and much more. This was the second time we stayed there and notice all the improvements that were made and it has always been spotlessly clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful and so is the management. We arrived early and they found a room for us even though we didn't expect to get a room that early we only wanted them to know that we were in town. Great friendlyness, homey atmosphere, and very quiet. Can't wait to return. Price was also great. Thanks again. Marie & John

We cannot wait to go back next year

Just back from 5 days here -- my husband and I were attending a seminar nearby and our two teenagers spent the days by themselves. This place had everything they needed -- indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, proximity to miniature golf and a great flea market. The beaches are close by and we thoroughly enjoyed both Marconi and the beach by MacGuires Landing (open to non-residents after 4 pm). Our room was huge, with 2 comfortable queen beds, small refrig and cute updated bath. It took a while for the water to heat up, but other than that, everything and everyone was right on the mark. Especially enjoyed the paperback books available for loan in the lobby and the excellent restaurant for breakfast on site -- very nice to have.
