Enjoyed my stay for sure!

Good place to stay! My favorite hotel in this area for sure. Staff was kind. Ended up getting this hotel pretty cheap at SweetHotelDeals. Net actually.

Gets better every time
By ,
I have stayed here close to ten times over the past five years. I have never had a noisy room (except for the odd time my room was next to the elevators). Parking is a bit pricey, but very efficient. Check-in service is always hospitable and friendly. Hotel is convenient to the subway, many fantastic restaurants, and Fenway Park. One can dine at PF Chang or the Cheesecake Factory without going outdoors. For my last stay I chose a junior suite which was unbelievable. The room was in the north tower and was updated with a new bathroom, two flat screen televisions, and a breathtaking view of the city including Fenway, the Charles River, and more. Nothing to complain about here.

Paper-Thin Walls
By ,
Should I start with the two large dogs that bark non-stop or the baby crying. Now I understand, it's a baby. However, this little chunk of love gets up at 1, 3 and 5 am nightly. The walls are so so thin. The cying seemed to be in my ear. The dogs were left in the room. Each time the "security" came up they told me there was nothing they could do and to keep calling the front desk. The barking waws Non-Stop! The upper half of the South tower lost power for a long time for several hours one night. The lobby was full of people hanging out. I was there. It was 11 pm at night and little kids and babies littered the lobby. The bar was full with people drinking their frustrations out after paying 300 dollars a night and not getting any compensation for having no power in their room for a long time. No free drink, nothing. My coworker had stayed in a different room. Someone broke into his room in the middle of the night when he was sleeping. After talking to "security," they claim no activity on the lock. Meaning, no one used a key to get in but someone was able to get in a locked room. I hate to be so negative. This hotel had two positives. 1. location (great area) 2. When I left!

Don't stay here: I won't again.
By ,
Went here for the MTTS (Microwave Theory and Techniques Symposium). Very expensive for such low quality. Should have known better when I saw the "Otis" (Elevator repair man) sitting on a bench. Yep; elevator would not go to my floor... or the gym... unfortunately, the stairs don't go to the gym in the North Tower either (floor was torn up). Room service messed up the order; then was closed (I got them to replace my soup the next day). Internet in your room extra??? Staff was reasonably helpful (I've had better service too, but they, at least, did not suck -- like the rest of the hotel did). Oh... forgot to mention being awakened by 5 hotel employees just down the hall at 6AM cleaning the carpet and leaving the giant floor fans running (though if somebody barfed -- from eating the over-priced food, then reckon they had no choice). Recommend eating at King's across the street (actually THEY were very good).

No Complaints At All With This Place
By ,
Although it's a little pricy, this is my favorite place to stay in the Copley Square area. Beds are super comfy, and the rooms are quiet. I've stayed here several times (as well as the Hilton and Collinade which are a stones throw away) and definitely plan on staying here again. I read the "bad" reviews for this place and, although I'm sure they're all true, I have not experienced any of the things they've listed. My room has always been updated and clean. I have not used room service because there are too many good resturants in the area. Sometimes you can get a better price/availability if you go through the website directly, rather than Travelocity or Priceline.

Very nice hotel, great location
By ,
Can't get over the negative reviews. One of the nicest hotels I've been to in Boston. The rooms were nice (not spectacular, but very nice and clean). Customer service was fast and efficient (we needed a cot and they got us one within the hour). It's also connected to the Prudential Center and right by Boylston bars (Pour House, Whiskeys, etc.) so I thought it was a great location. Can't really assess the price because we used my friend's Starwood points to get a free room. The only negative was related to noise. Housekeeping woke us up two mornings on the weekend early to clean the room (9:30..which is early if you've been drinking the night before). That was our fault though for not putting up a "Do Not Disturb" sign. A family also decided that it was a good idea to play in the hallway with their baby like 8:00am one morning and create a whole bunch of noise for an hour (again not the hotel's fault, but still was a negative part of the experience). Didn't eat at the restaurants, but one of them seemed highly overpriced..which is why we opted for the Prudential Center instead (Daily Grille..always good).

\"Very suprised at the condition of the bedrooms\"
By ,
I decided to take my mother and daughter to Boston to visit the wonderful city and also to go shopping. Coming from London, England we were very familiar with the Sheraton Group of hotels and have used them ofter. When we arrived, the staff at the front desk were extremely hellpful, but when we arrived in our room, it was really worn, the decoration needed attention. The room and bathroom needed decorating and the bathroom a total upgrade. I was very suprised and didn't expect such badly worn bedrooms and bathrooms. It is however, in the very best location. Very Central. It is also extremely busy with business people and this made the hotel at times feel like living in the middle of Victoria Station in London. I am returning to Boston, but wouldn't stay at the Sheraton Hotel again. This vist I have choosen the Lenox Hotel.

Letdown
By ,
I stay in hotels 100-125 nights per year. This is one of the worst I've ever encountered; Filthy condition of room. Barely edible food from room service. No WiFi. On top of that, we are currently paying 600usd per night to stay here this week, more than most hotels I've stayed in this year in Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong. Despite the attempts at decent service by the staff, I would avoid this hotel. It feels like a decrepit ocean-liner.

Everything was great!
By ,
First night in - had a room right by elevator shafts. Laid awake all night listening to the elevator go up and down. Next morning, I asked to move. Was given a great corner room set off the hallway that was very quiet. It had two large windows with a marvelous view of Boston. Loved everything about this hotel. They even waived the internet usage fee on the lobby computers because of the convention I was attending. The location is very convenient.

Disappointing
By ,
We were there recently for a convention and we feel the accomodations were over-priced. Our room was small and right next to the elevator shaft so we heard (and felt) the elevators all night long. The bathroom had a huge hole in the wall right behind the toilet. The escalator upstairs to the convention center went out of service the 2nd day we were there and was still not working when we left at the end of the week. On the positive side though, the staff was friendly and very helpful whenever we had a question or a request.
