Clarion Hotel West Springfield, West Springfield

The room's wallpaper was peeling. The wallpaper by the bed had staples in it to hold it up. The lighting barely worked and the TV was not able to be seen from either of the queen beds. The comforters were dingy and dirty - looked like blood stains. The curtains would not close and our window was ground level looking at the parking lot.! I would run as fast as I could away from this hotel!

We should have turned around when we saw the tailgate party in the parking lot, but didn't. The lock on our door was broken so we couldn't get in w/o assistance. Our first floor window was completely cracked. There was a full blown party in the pool area, complete with broken bottles and trash strewn everywhere (but mgmt didn't seem to notice). While at the front desk attempting to get working keys for the 3rd time, the supervisor decided to embarass us by loudly demanding we go back to our room and put on shoes, I explained that we would, if we could get in the door. On that note we decided to leave (2 hours after we checked in). The supervisor, Isabel, said she would find us a new room with a working door and unbroken window. We waited for half our in our wet bathing suits without a word from her. When my bf left to get our refund, he found the maintenance man attempting to fix the lock next door. He pointed him to our lock and both men spent another 15 mins trying to access our room before success. We left 5 mins later. I called the following Monday & spoke with Joan, after relaying our story she actually said to me " So whats the point of this phone call, I'm not sure what you're trying to get at" I explained that I just thought someone should know how horrible our experience was, she said she'd mention it to the owner. We will NEVER go back.

just stayed. obviously indoor pool area is nice. but the problems were numerous. three lamps had blown lightbulbs, tv broken, heat was blasting and uncontrolable. the scary staff walks around talking on their celphones in spanish ( which i speak and unfortunately understand) table in room had been used to paint so had stains. stains on curtain. room was not as promised. pool was way too colds to swim. light bulbs in parking lot and halways burned out. leaks in ceiling all over building. most workoput equipment broken not up to what you think clarion should be. sf

it has simply the best decoration it felt like being in a forest pool was the best around it was clean and quiet te sevice was ok but i enjoy the stay

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a beautiful suite. Great prices. We can not wait to go back!! Would reccomend to everyone!!

Our room was average in size, same for the bath. It had an indoor balcony overlooking the tropical looking view hand painted on the two story walls. The large indoor heated pool with jacuzzi was very tropical looking too. The bar was a large tiki hut look. The food was descent and sitting at the bar for a cocktail was very nice. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ends. The room was really filthy. When we opened different drawers, there were empty soda bottles. In another one was dirty silverware and plates, which was gross. When we went out on the balcony to look at the scenery, our neighbors were smoking non-stop on their balcony. This was supposed to be a non-smoking facility indoors. So when we made it to the front desk, we told them our dismay and they didn't do much to help us. We had to fill out a form, yada yada. So we filled one out anyway. We got a letter in the mail with a coupon for a 50% off your next stay in a standard room, not poolside. We had a two story room suite that we had stayed in. Obviously they don't care if you come back again. Not that I would. That place is for going for drinks only. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

If it wasn't for the indoor pool, and my kids liking that, I would have left as soon as I checked into the room.
