I wouldn't stay here again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/21/11
The room smelled a bit musty. Towels were rough. Front desk were not nice. Shower had poor water pressure. There were bed bugs. I wouldn't stay here again.

Would stay again
By bradleye, 3/19/08
This was a very nice hotel. We stayed for three weeks, husband on business. When we checked in they were very friendly, efficent, and upgraded us to a suite. They gave us menus for local delivery and were as helpful as could be. The suite was spacious. Huge Bedroom, with it's own tv. Living room with tv, sofa, chair, coffee and endtables. Dining set for 4. KItchen area with sink, mini fridge and microwave plus tableware. It was very convenient. Clean too. The suite shows it's age a little could use some touchups. Nothing drastic. Wall scratches, paint touchup. Large Bathroom. The housekeeping staff was outstanding. They took very good care of us. I would reccomend this Holiday to anyone. In comparison to other Holiday Inns we have stayed in this is at the top of the list. They have a preorder room service breakfast which is wonderful. The Italian restaurant in the building serves good food. We didn't use the pool or fitness center but checked them out. Clean, well maintained and an attraction for families on the weekends. During the week it's real quiet, families with children on the weekends. It was not out of control just not as quiet.

misleading location
By Igo2c, 6/9/05
this hotel was clean and had a great and helpful staff. however...if you are staying here and visiting boston---rent a car. in fact, rent a car from the airport to save an expensive cab ride. the drive is simple to the train station and into the city if needed. also easy access to salem and other northern cities. it is not near public transportation and lies directly on the freeway. there are no places in walking distance even to get a cup of coffee because there is no place to walk. it lies on the very edge of peabody and the rest of the city is not readily avaliable to you. also, do not visit a small "night club" nearby by the name of Tabu. it is overpriced and terrible music plays all night long. it seems to be the only nightlife in the immediate area, don't bother with it. drive into the city.

Horrible!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/20/05
This is obviously an old 70's style hotel that was "remodeled". When I asked person at the front desk to recommend things to do for my kids, he handed me a phone book and told me to "look things up"! Dirty bathrooms. I will never return to this place.
