very disappointed

This is one hotel that I don't think I'll go back to. My group had rented about fifteen rooms which were all located next to each other. About eight of us were in the hallway talking (it was 10:00 on a Saturday night)when the hotel staff asked us to find another place to go to socialize. Nobody would have complained because all of the rooms around us belonged to our group. When we asked if there was a conference/meeting room available that we could rent, we were told that there were none. We could go down to the pool area or to the lobby, but we couldn't bring our own beverages. The hotel bar was suggested, that way we could purchase our own drinks. We were more than willing to accommodate our less than accommodating hotel manager, and procceeded to go down to the hotel bar, which was located directly across from the lobby. At the time, the lobby was being occupied by another group, which was drinking their own beverages, directly in view of the very same hotel manager.
I was surprised the next morning that the hotel staff was having a very loud conversation at 6:30 a.m. while pushing the very noisy breakfast carts along the tile floor directly outside my room. The manager was so concerned the night before that the ten o'clock conversation we were having the night before was disrupting the other guests' sleep. (We were truly not being disruptive.) Apparently, 6:30 on a Sunday morning is a much better time for conversing with friends.
The rooms were not the cleanest that I've stayed in. There were crumbs and pieces of popcorn along the walls. There was no closet door. The beds were very small and uncomfortable. (Two full size beds for myself, my husband, and my 12 and 10 year old sons. It was a tight squeeze for all.) The shower was terrible. The shower head had become separated from the wall, and the water came out in not much more than a trickle. As soon as I turned the cold water on to adjust the temperature, the water became ice cold, and the only way that I could figure out to get it warm again was to turn both off and just turn the hot water on again. The toilets wouldn't flush properly, either. You had to hold the handle down for several seconds to get it to flush completely.
