Very Poor Response
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/8/05
I am having difficulty getting a response From management regarding a refund of my deposit. Emails are read but no response is received. Phone calls result in an voice messages. It is like trying to contact a black hole. I understand that the accommodations are very good, however, I would not try Bayshore again because of the ongoing communication problems.

Weekend Escapes.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/25/05
For over 8 years we have been staying at the Bayshore (Hargood House) and love it. The well equipped units are nicely appointed, clean, and very comfortable. Anne and Harriett are the nicest people and know how to run a top rated place. It is a great place to relax, and low tide produces a huge sand bar on Bayshore's beach which is great for playing with the dog. We always cherish our long weekends at Bayshore and you will too. It is a bit pricey, but is better than most other places we know of. Longing to return.........

What a nice surprise!
By Scott, 9/14/04
We booked at the last minute Labor Day weekend and wondered if we were going to be checking in to a dump (since they were one of the rare places that accepted dogs). To out surprise, the room was clean and bright. Being right on the water with our own private beach and having our own private deck made coffee in the morning a pleasure. Plus, it's just outside of the noise of town. We'll be back.
