Boston Marriott Long Wharf, Boston

This was my first time booking a room on line and i would do it again. The hotel was beautiful and the service was great. Plenty to do for the children. Going back next year!! Sally from Bristol CT

The hotel was great. The room was great. The food was great. The pool was great. The service was great. I would stay here again.

Locating besides Charles River, Boston city is a solemn beautiful metropolis of Massachusetts. Many famous colleges and universities locate in this city, for instance: MIT, Havard, Boston College, Boston University... These campuses create a distinct characteristic for the city as the educational capital of the North America.

My husband and I stayed at the Marriot on Long Wharf in Boston on June 5th and were very disappointed. For the $400 a night stay you would think that something would be included besides a bed to sleep in. The room was nothing special; we stayed at rooms at the Hampton Inn in NY city by Time Square for $150 a night and it just as nice. We could not believe that the $400 a night did not even include parking at the hotel you had to pay an additional $40 for parking. Guest who stay at the hotel should get to park there for free; if you were not staying at the hotel it was still $40 for parking. When we stay at the Hampton Inns they include a breakfast buffet and 24 hour coffee and tea. At the Marriot you have to listen to a sale pitch about the Marriot in Florida to get your complementary gift of a travel coffee cup. I now understand why the Marriot did not have any of those "rate us" cards in the room like you see at other hotels; they knew better then ask. The location was good but they are over priced and the staff wasn't that friendly; the room was nothing special and like I said before we will never stay at another Marriott again. It was for our anniversary that we thought we'd treat ourself to something nice; expensive doesn't always mean nice. We will visit Boston again but we will be staying else where. Springfield,MA

We stayed at the Marriott Long Wharf 1 night and never once thought to check for bedbugs. We have paid dearly for our ignorance because we ended up with bedbug bites (our children as well!) and bringing bedbugs home with us from the Marriott! The expense and emotional trauma has been horrible. We've hired a licensed bedbug detecting dog and pest management company and we hope the bedbugs are gone for good. We will never stay at the Marriott again! The Marriott claims they did not find any evidence of bedbug "activity" in the room in which we stayed, yet the Marriott refuses to share the inspection report. They will not even tell us if they used a licensed bedbug detecting dog and a professional pest management company. The Marriott also did not inspect the room in which our luggage and belongings were stored. The bites are painful and itchy and take forever to heal. Our experience with the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston, MA has been a nightmare. ”

Located right next to the Aquarium T station and the MBTA pier for the Charlestown ferry, the Marriott Long Wharf is an ideal location for those who want to visit Boston without a car. The hotel's unique architecture and interiors evoke comparison to the nearby harborside warehouses and the tiered decks of a ship. Although our room was somewhat small, it was pleasantly decorated, clean, efficient, and VERY quiet. Beds and bedding were luxurious and comfortable. The hotel's common areas, lounge, restaurant, and pool are a perfect complement to the city in which it is located. However, this hotel works best as a base of operations for a working or pleasure trip to Boston, not necessarily as a stand-alone destination. The full corporate rate would not be a good value, but discounted rates are available with some web searching and patience.

As in the title..it is in a great location..parked the car away and walked from then on..or took tour busses..the aquarium..flanuel (sic) hall..restaurants..historical sites were terrific..I highly recommend it for people who don't mind walking..

We loved everything my husband and I and our two children stayted for the weekend---clean rooms, staff went out of their way to please us. Breakfast was fabulous and the pool was lots of fun. The rooms were great and again the staff ocould not have been better

This is a very nice hotel if you want to spend time enjoying the Italian restaurants in the North End neighborhood or the Fanueil Hall area which is just across the freeway. It is also very close to a Legal Seafoods. We ate chowder there one evening.
