DIRTY TRUCKER MOTEL WITH RUDE STAFF/ MANAGEMENT!!!
By ajb, 10/09/08
DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL COSTS!!!! Staff, including management is extremely rude, and the rooms are filthy, not worth the $80 per night. The first room they put us in was trashed. Went back to the desk and the girl rolled her eyes and put us in a different room. There was pee still on the toilet, the bed sheets were covered in hair, and there was pretzels and what looked like ashes (this was a non-smoking room) beside the bed. The room was outdated and our wake-up call never came. I called down to the desk and the girl told us (with an attitude) that she couldnt move us, because she had no rooms left. So we stayed there because a fair was in town and all the other hotels were sold out. We talked to the manager, Yogi, in the morning. He didn't seem like he cared one bit about our problems with the room. HE DIDN'T EVEN APOLGIZE!!! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLEASANT AND CLEAN PLACE TO STAY!!!

Hot Management!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/27/08
The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. I stayed a weekend because my older brother was in Mercy hospital for surgery. Being from out of state, I found this place to be moderately close in location and affordable. But by far the best reason I found to stay was the new manager. I had stayed before and I had heard that management had changed due to a switch in ownership of the establishment, and all I can say is "Wow!" Yogi seemed very eager to please and accomodated me and my friend with anything we needed. If that wasn't enough, I think he is the cutest guy, even my brother-in-law thinks so! I wish we could have met under different circumstances...

fleas, dirty, wet, disgusting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/10/08
This was the grossest hotel I have ever stayed in. I was there for a long weekend and the first night woke up with "insect" bites around my ankles. I thought maybe I'd been bitten by mosquitos, but after the second day of waking up to even more bites, I realized these were fleas! This was confirmed that night when I saw a huge flea on my pillow. We complained and it was ignored. We called around to several hotels for another room, but everything in the area was booked. We had no choice but to stay and I had to wrap myself head to toe. Disgusting. The floor also had a dampness to it, the room smelled and each morning we had some sort of interruption. The first morning, the shower was ice cold. We called the front desk and they informed us that they had known since the night before and were waiting for someone to fix it "mid-day." Unbelievable. The next day they blew a fuse in the morning and we had no electricity as we were getting ready. Really really bad experience and it wasn't cheap either. The staff seemed like a bunch of half-wits.

Needs work, won't go back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/06/07
The sheets were threadbare, the quilted bedspread had holes in it, the sheets and mattress pad came untucked during the night and became a clump underneath us, the traffic noise was bad, the bathroom was too tiny--not enough counter space, and only enough room for one person, no elevator, etc.

Excellent value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/27/05
My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay. We have stayed at many hotels before and find this one to be of the best value and of having the most comfortable beds time and time again, regardless of the rates. The service was good, the staff friendly and the location proved to be just want we wanted.
