Herbert Grand Hotel, Kingfield

My wife and I visited there during a leaf watching trip to Maine. The hotel is amazingly preserved and really cool. It is part hotel, part museum and part time machine. The lobby is amazing and very warm and inviting. We spent both evenings sipping wine and chatting with other guests. The rooms are cozy and have the old antique telephones from the turn of the century. If you like old places with lots of charisma then you should check them out.
