RIP OFF
By MR PETE, 7/4/10
THEY HAVE A NO REFUND POLICY. I KNOW WHY. EVEN IF YOUR FLIGHT GETS CANCELLED THEY STILL WONT GICE A REFUND OR RAIN CHECK. NOT THAT I WOULD STAY THERE NOW. TOTAL RIP OFF AND UNCARING ABOUT PEOPLE.

Desk Service Great
By Rosalie C, 3/17/08
Just stayed there this weekend (Mar 14-16, 2008) for a taekwondo tournament. Close to airport, restaurant next door was great, and close to tournament. The front desk group were all friendly and helpful. It is in the process of being painted and remodeled, so was not the cleanest place we have stayed; but understandable. Would definitely stay there again. The price was a great bargain compared to what some friends paid at other local motel chain. The breakfast was sufficient for our wants; we are not hard to please.

Don't stay here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/27/07
This is the most disgusting place I have ever spent a night. Keep your shoes on - the carpets are disgusting. If the a/c wasn't on high the room smelled like body odor and urine. It took several showers to get the smell of urine and chlorine off my body after a 5 minute dip in the pool. The bed was old and the sheets older. The only good thing was the price!

Very Disappointed!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/3/07
Arrived for a family trip with 3 small children...we searched the internet to find a suitable location with a pool and the pictures "looked" great...but our room was dirty and old, bathroom sink had hair in it and there were stains on the carpet, the lock on the window did not work and the hallways were dark and creepy, and the sheets appeared used....we would not allow our children to take their shoes off...we were taken to another room which was no better and we ended up leaving, and charged a fee for cancelling!! Lesson learned.

what a mess this is
By sheri, 6/13/07
This place was a horrible place to stay. I stayed for several weeks while in maine and the service was terrible. The pool was always filthy and a hazard to be near. The weekends were filled with loud parties and drunk guests. The place was a danger to stay at during the winter. They never cleared the snow out property and because of that I was hurt rather badly. The was no sympathy or ownership. The manager should have been fired by now, The owner was never available. I would not recommend this place to anyone I liked, not even to those that I do not like. It was a total rip off for the amount of time I had spent there.

Great Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/20/06
We spent one evening there and had royal treatment. Exceptional value, service, etc. Highly recommended. They catered to our needs and allowed us an early check in. They actually went above and beyond to get us in early.

A Bit of a rip-off
By Christine, 8/9/05
I called several weeks ahead to plan my eight night stay. I had stayed in the area about a month previously and knew that several hotels in the area were under construction. I asked the reservation person if this hotel was under any construction. I was told that it was, but that I would be given a room on the opposite side of the construction. I asked if there was indeed a pool and a hot tub. I was told that there were both. After arriving at the hotel, I found out that the pool had been completely torn out and the pool building was demolished. There was no pool available. I was told that two other local hotels, Howard Johnson's and the Ramada would allow us to use their pool. I was not to thrilled since I did not plan on having to leave the hotel to swim. I went to check into my room and discovered that the television was not working. I called the front desk and they came to the room and fixed it temporarily until the morning when their maintenance man would fix it properly. I was allowed to order a movie in my room for free for the inconvienence. The next day the tv was fixed properly. When I woke up the next morning I saw a note under the door from the housekeeping crew saying that they start cleaning at 8am and if I needed my room cleaned after that then to call the front desk. I was told when I made my reservations that they had housekeeping available. I was not told that if I was not out of the room by 11am then it would not be done. I was told at the front desk that I could always get any supplies that I needed at the desk anytime. I informed them that I did not come on vacation to clean my own room. Each morning there was a note under my door. I tried to go to breakfast so that my room could be cleaned, but again this was a real inconvience. I tried using the Ramada's pool, but it was packed with guests and I ended up not swimming there. Howard Johnson's while nice, was only an outdoor pool and on several days of my stay the weather ws either rainy or too cool in the evening to swim outdoors. The carpet in the room was dark red but I realized how filthy it was after I took a shower and walked around barefoot in the room. My feet bottoms were filthy! On a positive note, several of the front desk people were very friendly and they did help making suggestions with area activities and points of interest to visit. I think that upper management and owners of this hotel need to get their act together. This place was not a place that I would stay at again.

Not recommended for extended stays
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/19/05
I stayed at this location for a week, over a holiday time. My room was cleaned twice (only because I called the front desk to complain about it not being cleaned). I had to call to get clean towels for my room. The staff was not friendly at all. I would not recommend staying past 2 days here.
