Econo Lodge Hacienda International, Augusta

My husband and I stay here every chance we get. we stay here for our b-days,tax season getaways ,anmd we even stayed here on our way home from our honeymoon. The people are GREAT to deal with. The Hotel is BEAUTIFUL and clean. The pool is a perfect temp.,the hot tubis a perfect heat in the winter to get through those cold winter days. The spa service is the best Ive had and theres places to have nails,hair and any other need met. They located in a perfect spot for a dinner, or middle of the night snack. Local restaurnts all around you. Shopping just a block away.. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO TO GET AWAY AND REFRESH YOURSELF.....

Had a great stay here. We were in a wing that was recently redone, with new carpet and a large flat panel TV. Great restaurant with brick oven pizza Our kids loved the pools

This hotel was wonderful. The staff was very nice and the hotel is right off of the highway. You are literally seconds away from shopping in restaurants in augusta. The hotel yes maybe be a little out dated but their spa, wonderful pool and service definitly make up for the decor. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. (very comfy). My family came and used the pool and the kids couldnt get enough of it. Overall the senator inn and spa is a great place to stay. and as for all of those bad reviews that people have posted...I would say that they are very stuck up and ungrateful people. And to all of the people who wrote bad reviews next time you should stay at the ritz carlton if you are expecting a five star experience. (get over yourselves). ~Nicole South shore mass

Nice place that we found right off the highway. Very nice room with a flat panel TV and one in the bathroom that my kids thought was cool. 2 great pools and a work out room that was the best we have ever seen. We had a great dinner in restaurant that was so yummy we ate breakfast there the next day.

We stayed in a room with a king size bed (+), very stained carpet (-), looked like a 50's hotel. very small and tight room and bath. tv located on wheels to turn toward the bed. couch was dilapitated and ugly. air conditioning thermostat difficult to figure out the controls. guests of ours treated rude by spa attendents, expected to pay (which was not explained to us) and told to go to outside pool. in dining room, food was very classy, nice presentation (+). reservations were messed up and table wasn't ready on time. when checking in early, room not ready and no suggestions from desk people as to what to do while waiting. waited over an hour, which was past the check in time, due to change of shift on desk at 3pm. at 3:30 we checked back with the desk for the third time to see new people and they didn't know we had been waiting since 2:15. lack of communication. on walking to the pool/spa, whole floor of rooms with open doorways and no housekeeping in sight, which we thought was kind of strange. the morning brought a sight that was very unappealing - seafood had been thrown on our car outside our door. all in all, we thought the place run down and greatly in need of upkeep and maintenence. we had great expectations and were disappointed. the internet connection is one computer in the lobby.

Very unhappy with our check- in and old, dated room. Receptionist very abrupt and unfriendly. Not anxious to make things right or give me a better room.

It was my first time there and they gave me a wet robe to put on after coming in from the 10 degree weather, which I believe the robe had been worn by a previous customer, and when I asked where I could possibly get another one the wait staff told me to go to the front desk to get one. Then I said something to the manager and she gave me some free soap and shampoo travel sizes. I have a whole basket full in my closet. She wasn't very accomodating nor seemed to concerned about my first experience at the spa!!!

We had a woderful time at the senator. We checked in at around 5:00pm, and headed for the governer sweet we had reserved. when we got there my new bride told me the room did not have a jet tub. She had specificaly requested a jet tub for our stay. So I called the front desk. The person who answered was frank. He immediatly changed our room to a spa sweet, came over and carried our bags to the new room, then proceeded to apoligize for the mix up then discount our room for our trouble.He was very professional. The room was beautiful big hot tub with jets, king size bed, fireplace, and still had enough room to dance in. the dining at cloud 9 was supurb. the spa treatment was the best. the whole experance was one of the best times I have spent in agusta. The Senator has now become our little not-so-far-from-home vaction spot. I look forward to our next stay. I have 8 words to discribe The staff and the people at the Senator and how they perform. trustworthy,helpful,friendly,curtious,kind, cheerful,clean, and reverant.

We stayed here for one night in a dark cramped noisy room. In the morning I discovered that our bathroom had tub that you couldn't even stretch out in. It wasn't the spa setting that they advertised so I won't ever stay here again.

I held a Sales Meeting here earlier this month and I have to say that, as usual, everything was excellent. The meeting room was set up as I asked. The snacks and lunch were delivered on time. The Soup & Sandwich Buffet was fresh, tasty and well displayed. Compliments to the staff. After the meeting 3 of my associates joined me for dinner in the Senator's "Cloud 9" Restaurant. We all had an excellent meal. My personal compliments to Chef Brian Sawyer and his staff for one of the best Veal Marsala dishes I have had in a long time. It was excellent!
