Travelodge New Orleans Westbank Hotel, Harvey

I liked the service I received from this hotel. Most of the employees were very helpful. On a down note, the doors are very hard to get into. Oftentimes I found myself standing at my door nearly 10 minutes, messing with the key to get myself in. Besides that, everything was ok, and the price is just right! The hotel is located just outside of downtown New Orleans, and right next to a highway, so it is easy to travel to and from the downtown area. There are also an array of good shopping areas in that vicinity, so its in a pretty good area. I think the hotel should look into its door problems. I am aware that humidity is a factor, but maybe this hotel would benefit by going back to an actual Key system. The staff were friendly and helpful, except they couldnt do much about the doors. The restaurant attached has good food, for a reasonable price. Overall I had a good stay here at Travelodge. I would recommend this hotel to any who need a cheap stay with good quality.
