Very disappointed!
First of all, the room service and food were absolutely WONDERFUL! I cannot express how much we enjoyed the nice delivery people and the food!! I am giving this review a 1 on service for poor customer service (desk), but actual room service is a 5!! However, that is where the good comments stop. My husband and I have stayed here twice, not by personal choice, but for business purposes. On BOTH occasions, we arrived at 4pm to check in to find that we would have to wait another 45 min on the first visit, and 1.5 hrs on the second visit to check into our room because it was not "ready". I'm not sure why they could not put us in another room? The staff at the desk are not very personable. They do not greet you, smile, ask how you are or anything. They are the best example of poor customer service....should be on a customer service teaching video on how NOT to treat customers. The rooms were okay for an older hotel. However, our room had hair stuck to the bathroom door and on the toilet. Some hair had even been painted over!!! The tub needed a good scrub brush to it. I could literally scrape the scum up with my fingernail..but then stopped because it was grossing me out. I decided to just ignore it!! The air conditioner froze up causing water to pour out of the ceiling during our second stay (we got moved to another room the next day). And last, the noise is terrible. I am used to staying in a hotel instead of a motel. The hotel itself cannot help noisy cars and people, but cutting the grass at 8:30PM is a little ridiculous!!! Can't they do that during the day? I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I WOULD, however, recommend the restaurant! The food and the staff in there are WONDERFUL!!!! Maybe you could stay at a nicer hotel down the street and just eat here!! :)
