Quality Inn and Suites Port Allen, Port Allen

Unlike the other reviews here, we found this hotel to be clean and the sheets were VERY soft. The bed and pillows were also good. It is NOT a 4 star fancy hotel, but the breakfast was plentiful. The staff was also very helpful. The price was a good value. (With discount it was less than $90)They are in the process of completely remodeling, and there was a small issue with the elevator being used when we were trying to check out. No biggie! It was VERY accessible to IH10 and right on LA Hwy 1, a very interesting southern route to take into New Orleans. We will stay here again.

The staff is lazy and doesn't do much of anything. It took me about an hour to check out because the girl at the front desk was talking on the phone and would not get off. The rest rooms are nasty in the lobby, the floors are always sticky, the carpet is always dirty. I don't see people cleaning the lobby often but when I do it seems like their doing a half butt job. The breakfast has to many sweets and should have more of breakfast foods. The coffee and the wate is nasty and taste like beach. That is in the lobby and our rooms. The rooms themselfs are nasty and not cleaned well. The only good thing in the girl who does the breakfast in the mornings is nice and another girl that works the front desk at night is nice. I think Heather is her name. Those are the only upsides to the hotel. I don't think $105 a night at this place is worth it. The staff is rude and the hotel itself is dirty. Do not stay here.

The facility was run down. The room was dirty, mold on the phone, dust build up on the electrical outlets, shower was so small cracks on the wall with the faucet, spiders behind door. Rude front office help and the complimentary breakfast was a joke. False advertising. This motel/hotel needs to be knocked down and rebuilt to represent its name "Quality" Inn because there is no "Quality!!!!"

First and last visit for us! Not a good family area. Facilities VERY rundown!! Rooms filthy and in need of renovations. Ants in bathroom, very noisy at night, did not feel safe in this part of town.

somehow it took really long for the hotel staff to check us in... even though we had bought the "good buy" deal of yahoo, which is supposed to be pre-paid... but the hotel didn't had any information on that... and then it took about an hour or so to clear up things, before they gave us the room keys... it was very unprofessional staff... will rather pay that amount and stay at a marriot or somewhere...
