Embassy Suites Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge

The management was very rude and forced my 16 year old daughter to wait in the lobby in her swimsuit until I returned from a meeting instead of escorting her to get id from our room., to get the key re-magnetized. When I complained, the manager, Maureen was rude, disrespectful and insisted that it was protocol. I have NEVER been treated so poorly. There is no excuse for this type of customer "service". If an employee was willing to treat a Gold member that way, be assured that other customers and employees have suffered her bad "service".

I have not stayed at your hotel yet, but why are the rates changes from one day to another. We made reservation on Wednesday for the weekend of November 20th - 22nd for one price and on Friday, 11/13/09 it's another price Why

The hotel was really dated and the room smelled stuffy. The elevator was scary as it was really slow and it creaked as it was rising. Service in the dining area was practically non-existent. We had to search for a clean table to eat breakfast and one table still had leftovers from night before. The Gift Shop was next to the front desk and consisted of a beverage machine and a shelf with soup-in-a-cup and pain relievers. I just stayed in a great Embassy Suites in Hot Springs, AR, but evidentally all Embassy Suites are not created equally. Also, the bed was situated so that the air vent blew directly on the pillows. I had to sleep on my side all night to keep the air from blowing in my face. Either that, or do without air all together, which was not an option.

We take an annual girl's weekend and ALWAYS stay at the EMbassy. The breakfast is the best. The indoor pool and spa is a hit with all of us. We have been there many times and plan to continue.

The suite was excellent. It was extremely comfortable, service was excellent,could not have been better satisfied. We plan to visit on our anniversary every year.

First of all I dislike that we were charge higher than the qouted rate on the website for a hote that was having renovations done. There were cement and paint everywhere, the smell of the cement stayed in my nostril evening the next morning. Construction went on 9:30-6:30, which meant if you wanted to rest, not happened, there was banging gone one and drills. Thich is a little problem and I understand that they told us this before we check in, but I see no reason why prices couldn't be drop any to accomdate guest. But that's not it. When we check in teh elevators wasn' t working. We had a room on the 5th floor and when you get to the fourth floor you can't really get by because they have all the construction items in the way. Finally, we decided to spend a day there so that we could swim, but those plan was changed when we dressed in our swimsuit to only find out that the water was below 10 degrees, we would have done better swimming in an outside pool. I'm very disappointed in this hote and the name that goes behind them. Find out all the information you can about them before you spend your money. Don't wasted yours like I did with this hotel

I heard that the breakfast at the Embassy was great and was looking forward to the stay with the swim team. I made a reservation on a blocked room a month before my arrival. When we arrived we were told that they had no room for us and sent us to another motel! We were very unhappy to be away from our team and the breakfast was horrible at our motel. I can't believe that they gave our rooms away!!!

Our stay at Embassy Suites was spectacular. The view was breathtaking! The tropical atrium, the colored fish, the glass elevators, etc. My husband and I went for an anniversary weekend getaway. I had hopes of Embassy being a romantic place and it was!!It was everything I had hoped it to be. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I was amazed at all the different selections of breakfast foods. The rooms were very spacious. We will, without a doubt, stay at Embassy every time we visit Baton Rouge, even if our kids are with us. The rooms have enough space for kids to be able to move around and play. The staff was very friendly. I can hardly wait to go back. Our stay was awesome!

I stayed here 5 nights/6 days for a convention. I enjoyed my stay very much. My suite was roomy, comfortable and clean. Room service was great and staff was courteous. Staying again soon and looking forward to it.

Have stayed here before and like it very much; this time it appeared not to be well kept, and my room was not cleaned. One person at front desk was rude (all others very courteous and helpful, though). Won't go back here.
