Great experience and wonderful pricing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/6/11
I now have a new favorite hotel to stay at while I am in New Orleans. The Airport Inn is located right by the airport and is only about 15 minutes from downtown New Orleans. The room was clean and the front desk was very courteous and professional. I checked other hotels in the area and this one was the cheapest which in this day and time is important to me. I was also happy to see undercover security on grounds during the night. Kudos to you Airport Inn, thanks for a wonderful stay.

I enjoyed my stay and have no complaints
By Johnny Rock, 9/6/11
I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I stayed here last year and was not happy at all, but now that they have new management and staff things have made a complete turn around. Also, the price can't beat beat!

Great Hotel and Value for business
By dreb, 8/31/11
Hotel was very clean and very accomodating. I stayed for a few days on business. Very close to the airport and my room was very clean. I think they were going through new management because the owners were actually working the front desk and were exremely nice and helpful. The told me nice places to eat while in town and show great southern charm. Thank you Airport Inn for being accomodating. I will be back.

Worst most disgusting place you could ever imagine
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/7/11
I was there Sat. 3/5 and they "ran out of rooms" We tried to check in at 12pm and were told to come back after 3pm,. When we came back at 9pm they kept telling us to wait that there was a problem. 3 hours later we were given a room with no blanket, no pillows, no phone, no working tv, no trash can even unless you count the trash under the bed of empty cans, old food wrappers, etc. The bed smelled of cigarette smoke and sagged. I only stayed about 4 hours and only that because my husband has a leg injury and had to lay down. It was Mardi Gras weekend or we would have stayed anywhere else. After 4 hours of sitting on the bed literally crying because it was so disgusting (we wore our shoes to the bed and took them off keeping our feet off of the floor) we finally went and slept in the car. PLEASE don't go there. They also had overbooked atleast 10 different customers that we saw .

Great motel for the price!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/14/05
Although it is not a Days Inn anymore, my family and I found it very nice. The staff was extremely helpful. It was quiet even though next to airport. We were in New Orleans for the Jr. Olympics and did not take us long to get to all the venues in N.O. I found the rooms clean enough and the grounds nice. Everything we asked for was given to us immediately. While other motels jacked up the prices for the Jr. Olympics, this one was the same price as any other time. We were at another motel in April and that motel trippled its price in July. Not fair. This one was very affordable. I would stay there again and again.

Great if leaving a vehicle
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/7/05
I stay here when I must travel. I live out of Nola. I prefer to drive myself, rather than inconvenience a friend, so I need to drive to NoLa--then I can leave my car safely here and stay the night before flying ( rested.) The manager has been very helpful to me everytime. I am a single woman and appreciate the thoughtful service. (Worth it--but avoid holiday weekends!)

Horrible... we didn't even stay!
By Corey, 5/18/05
I had made reservations for this hotel two months prior to our stay in Kenner. I have stayed at several Days Inn hotels before, and have always been satisfied. We arrive to a hotel that looks run down on the outside. We decide this is fine as long as the rooms are clean. We go into the lobby to talk with a fairly rude hostess. She was not helpful at all. We had to find our room on our own. We were supposed to have a "King Suite", but it turned out to be a room that resembled small apartment that had been lived in by 20 people. We open the door to a small living area with two broken chairs and a stained loveseat. The kitchen area has a broken smoke alarm laying on a table. The refrigerator is unplugged and stinks horribly. The bathroom has a pair of vise grips to turn the shower on and the toilet does not flush correctly. The bed had large brown stains on the sheets and it wasn't even made. This "non-smoking" room stunk like smoke and other terrible odors. Our sliding glass door opened to two cars that had not been running for years. There were people living above and to each side of our room. This place was just dirty. We called around and actually found a room at the Travelodge (see my review for Travelodge Kenner Airport). We were not going to stay at this place. I do not recommend this Days Inn to anyone, and I will not be staying at another Days Inn anywhere else because of this experience.

Days Inn Kenner is where I lay my head
By tammy, 5/11/05
I like the location where the hotel is located. The hotel was clean as well as the rooms. The hotel is located around the mall, major department stores and good seafood restaurants, that New Orleans is famous for.(seafood and cajun foods) Everytime I visit New Orleans, the Days Inn Kenner is where I lodge. And I won't forget that the price range is within my budget and very reasonable. Not to expensive like other hotel chains that charge too much for the same quality.. I would definitely recommend this hotel for lodging. And the pool is great too. Always kept clean for your swimming enjoyment. I've stayed at this hotel at least 10 times and this is mostly weekend travel. Days Inn Kenner will continue to have my business because I am a satified customer.

Won't go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/14/05
I have asthma, we asked for a non-smoking room, it was but stunk of something else!!! The bathtub was absolutely nasty, pubic hair on the floor in the bathroom, gum in the chairs, and someones hair & stains on the bed sheets. I used my clothing to lay on. It was a horrible experience.
