The rooms were the best part of the hotel. They are clean and decently appointed. The first clue that this is a three star wannabe -wandering the endless non-air conditioned halls covered with carpet that looks like it's been to war and lost.
The food staff and security person were friendly and very helpful. They should run the hotel.
The night shift is woefully understaffed. and if my experience with the young dude managing the desk the night of my stay of my stay generally rude and sarcastic. I tried to call the front desk for 20 minutes before finally trekking the great divide to ask why my air conditioner wouldn't turn on (controls are on the wall about 20 feet from the unit and would not light up no matter how many buttons I pushed). I thought that I had found help in the elevator when I saw a man with an armful of bedding. Turns out he was a customer who was looking for sheets and a comforter at midnight.
Answer about the airconditioner that would not work; housekeeping sometimes unpluggs the units in the rooms. You have get down on your hands and knees reach under and plug it in yourself. It works fine though.
I didn't pay the $89 they advertise. I suggest you don't either. This is a two star experience for sure, unless of course you never leave your room, and remember to plug in your airconditioner.
