4 reviews for Days Inn Indianapolis, Indianapolis
Very nice
By Frequent hotel user, 01/13/10
This is a very nice hotel, an excellent value for the price. My room was very big and very clean. There was a New Year's Eve party going on down the hall and I couldn't even hear it in my room. The guy at the front desk was very friendly. The breakfast was good, with a big dining room. The lobby is under construction, but it will be big when finished. There's an exercise room with a bike, treadmill, stair stepper and ski machine. The TV has 3 HBOs. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in Indy.

Please close this place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/01/08
Place was dirty, and the first night I found a HUGE spider on the sheet next to my pillow. I killed it with my cell phone, leaving a big splotch of bug-juice on the sheet. The next evening after returning from an event, I turned the sheet back and there was the same bug-juice from the night before! They made up the bed, but they don't change the sheets!!! Unless you REQUEST it, says management. Also, the towels are disgusting, with little curly hairs in them, they're tiny and rough. And they never chanaged the bath mat either. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple extra dollars and get yourself a decent hotel.

Disgusting!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/08
When we arrived at the hotel, we thought it would be fine, as the lobby seemed nice enough for a budget hotel. However, the rooms were another matter. We went through five or six rooms until we found one that didn't smell like smoke, didn't have cigarette burns in the furniture upholstery, didn't have strange-looking stains on the wall in the bathroom, and wasn't all-around dingy. But then things took a turn for the worse. While looking for the jack for the "free internet access" (which wasn't in the room, by the way) I found a used condom stuck to the wall behind the pillow on the bed. Completely disgusting. When I confronted the man at the desk, he complained more about us trying out different rooms than the fact that I found a used condom in the final room. He was very uncooperative when I told him we were leaving the hotel (thoroughly disgusted) and demanded a refund. Honestly, I was quite surprised, as other Days Inns at which I've stayed in other parts of the country were perfectly fine. This one, however, was not.

Hit and Miss
By Nick, 09/10/07
The first room they gave me the phone didn't work, the tv remote didnt work, and the shower had no curtain. They put me in a different room and everything was fine. The room was clean and I felt housekeeping was OK. Big room and great bathrrom with large shower/tub. It's operated by East Indians so sometimes the language is dicy. Some of the front desk people are spacy and get confused easily. But overall, good room for a good price.
