Don't stay here
By staceyd, 08/11/08
Worst Inn I have ever stayed at. We had problems getting extra towels and pillows, told by housekeeping they couldn't help us, we had to walk to the front desk, I asked for the manager on duty (MOD) and was told the MOD was not on that weekend. Stains on carpet and ceiling, very musty smelling. We had a non-smoking room, but people were sitting at the tables right outside of our room, smoking. Entering and exiting room, smoke smell would travel into room. "Dome" area was smoking...should have been stated, when making reservation. I have a son with severe asthma, and we had to take him to the ER for an attack during out two day stay. Housekeeping did not clean room on our next day...only made beds...dirty towels left in bathroom. Still no MOD on. Service very poor in the restuarant. Server unable to get beverage order correct. Did not clear plates or offer refills. Over priced for processed/canned food. DO NOT recommend. Game room available, but had many broken games, or games stole the money without play. If you are looking for a nice place for the family to stay while in the Jasper/Holiday World area...I suggest looking elsewhere. There is a choice in Jasper and the neighboring towns that HAVE to be better than the Jasper Inn.

NEVER WILL GO BACK
By ETTA, 08/11/08
The beds were broke down and very uncomfortable. We travel alot and it has been years since the pool was closed at actual posted time. The pool/game area is patrolled by a security guard and at exactly 10:30 he told everyone the pool/game area was closed and for everyone to go back to their rooms. There was quite a few families in the pool and everyone was behaving. I felt like a punished child rather than a mother of two who had just paid over $100.00 a night for room . There was no other place to go but to your room since all chairs are in the pool area. The game room is also closed at 10:30. My daughter said she felt like she was at an old folks home with everyone being in bed at 10:30. Besides having the security guard patrolling the pool area there was information card on the bed telling us to take everything out of our cars and don't leave anything valuable in the rooms. When we checked out the next morning we were not asked if we enjoyed our stay, they were very rude. The was also another man there complaining to the manager and he was video taping her response.....I would not recommend this place to anyone.

great event
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/13/05
dining room wasn't open for dinner - it was only in loungew - not great with kids but everything else was great. we were with a wedding party and the ballroom was beautiful, the food very good and it has a wonderful dance floor. liked plugging int the internet in my room and having a biz center where i could go to do work when my kids got noisy.

All-Around Excellanc
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/30/05
This place was wonderful for our church. The children enjoyed the pool and game room and the adults loved the tables around the hotel to chat at. WOnderful hotel layout and great restaurant inside. They were even able to let us use a private room for a birthday party.
