Worst Customer Service Ever

I thought the rates were reasonable. The hotel is located right off the highway which definitely a plus.
What angered me about this hotel was the deplorable customer service. I arrived at the hotel at 11am, understandably earlier than check in--not a problem. I asked if I could reserve the unit & return at check in time. The clerk responded no, we can't book it until check in time, so just come back at 3p. I didn't quite understand why she wasn't able to at least reserve it, but I chose not to argue & just follow instructions. I returned to the hotel promptly at 3p(literally 3pm) and the room I was attempting to book was no longer available. The worst part, was when I expressed dissatifaction, the response I got from the front desk clerk was, "at least you got a room".
