Bare bones, good value, but WATCH OUT!

The motel has that kind of old stale smell to it like so many motels of its type has. Even in a non-smoking room you can smell the years of smoke in there as if it's permeated the stucco in the walls. Okay, but the place is cheap and close to O'Hare. I get it and I got what I expected. What I didn't expect was for my credit card to be charged ONE WEEK after I checked out an additional fee that the manager there refused to refund or even return my inquiries via phone *or* email. I wrote to the corporate email address and they responded that it's not their problem anymore. We were there on business and planned on using the place ongoing. On another note, another person in our group that stayed there had fraudulent charges on their credit card after they stayed there --and that's the only place they had used that specific cc. Suspicious.

Shuttle service horrible

Shuttle service is awful, you will wait hours just to get them to pick you up or drop you off. The staff at the desk doesn't communicate to the shuttle that you are waiting. We ended up paying for a cab ride back to the hotel. They do have a park and play package so you can leave your car at the hotel while your on vaca. This is great!!! There's a bar/grill next door so you can start your vaca early!!

Awaiting Flight

So conveniently placed for return of car before a flight. Some inevitable noise being so close to the Airport, but provided all our needs including laundry after travelling from San Francisco by car. Price under half that in Chicago proper and easy access to downtown via shuttle every half hour and train. Only problem - totally inadequate signposting (same for all airport hotels except the Hilton) compared with most other Best Westerns. Donald Pike France

Best of the Best!

I started out at a hotel across the street that was absolutely HORRIBLE... I moved to Best Western and the staff was very courteous, plus, I asked for a refridgerator and I had one in my room within minutes. No extra charge. Excellent place!
