Worst Of The Wild West
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/25/08
Good: Comfy beds and pillows. Free pool table from ten to ten. Some cramped rooms get great morning sun and views of rolling acres and pines. Bad: Staff and management inconsiderate and unkind. Very noisy with guests speaking outside rooms at all hours, walking by with rolling suitcases, honking horns in lot, children shouting, clomping up cement stairs at all hours with paper thin walls between rooms and management refusing to demand quiet and threatening guests who do with eviction. During a six month stay paid for by a healthcare staffing company the police were called twice on a single occupant trying to get a night of sleep for work and health. Three and four police were sent out at once between 11 p. and 2 a. to pound on the door until it was broken in, to brutally demand packing of belongings quickly with insults and threats of sedative injection despite opportunities with complaints for a gentler and more considerate move of location. Other guests responded to requests for quiet with violence, disregard and insult. Food in the restaurant is unhealthy, time consuming and formal. Internet access in rooms is a rarity with little apology from staff and management. Rooms have items left in them from previous occupants like socks in the drawers and headbands under the beds. Items were stolen from the room by housekeeping with little apology from management. Housekeeping pounds on doors daily at eight in the morning like bouncers without regard to do not disturb signs or expected check outs. Light bulbs are frequently burned out etc. in the rooms. The sheets were not changed for ten days straight in a noisy room under the cement stairs that had the door pounded in by four police at two in the morning. There was a Daddy Long Legs in the bathroom. Nothing to do for singles like group tours or guides for hiking trails in the area etc. Generally disagreeable young local staff and management who couldn't provide a more unpleasant and hateful stay despite the cold and busy but beautiful clover leaf pool with bear statue in the Holidome. Grrrrr - Lucky if you make it out in one piece after little peace!

Destination Point
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/07
I invited family for my wedding and chose to have them stay at the Holiday Inn because my experiences with this hotel have always been great. My family is very particular about hoels so I worried myself sick that they would not be happy. Not only were they happy with the Holiday Inn they have decided to make it a destination point because of the Holidome swimming area. My nieces lived in the pool. They left my reception early to swim. This hotel has the friendliest and best staff anywhere! The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Thank you so much! The Ziebarth family

Loud is right!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/4/05
It really doesn't matter whether or not you stay on the freeway side of the hotel or not, if you have an outside room the hotel is loud in general. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people using the stairs all of the time. The rooms are sparse, but clean enough I guess. The remote didn't work in my room. My key didn't work the second day I was there and it isn't easy to get to the front desk from where I was. The staff was nice, though, and it appears to have some nice amenities. I didn't eat at the restaurant or use the pool area, but people I talked to said they were nice. It is pretty cheap, but if you are looking for a good night's sleep you might be better off finding something a little newer and not so close to the freeway.

stay elsewhere
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/3/07
fairly dirty old holiday inn . due to an advance reservation that was non-refundable we had to stay here after spending 2 nights at the super 8 across the street . the super 8 was cheaper and much newer . i rate the holiday inn at about the same as a motel 6 . so save yourself about $40 and stay there.

Not the best, but not the worst
By Michelle Harvey, 10/30/06
The large indoor pool area was nice, but we didn't use it as we arrived late in the evening. If you don't like pool noise, don't get a room that faces the pool. The hotel was close to freeway access and our room was fairly clean. The tub was our worst encounter as it was plugged. It filled with water quickly during my shower (almost up to my knees!). The room was inexpensive, but I would spend a bit more and stay elsewhere if I were to go again.

We would stay here again
By yahoo user, 11/6/06
We arrived late in the evening so we didn't get to walk around and see the area. We did go and see the indoor pool. It was very nice and big. I would advise not staying in the courtyard above the pool as I heard it gets loud and it is open until 10:00 or 11:00 in the evening. I think it would be really fun if you have kids. Our room was clean and nicely stocked. It was nice and comfortable for our quick stay over.

A truly great experience.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/13/05
I travel every week out of the year and normally do not stay in Holiday Inn properties but the conference I was attending was there so I figured what the heck I can tough it out. Wow! the prompt friendly service was a surprise. The food was excellent, our room was spotless. I recommend this property to anyone.

Nice room, but very noisy due to the courtyard.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/9/05
The room was nice, but the courtyard was a constant source of noise. All evening kids were yelling and screaming in the pool (unitl 10pm closing). Soon after that, a loud party continued in the courtyard outside our room until after 1:30 am. The instant the pool opened at 9 am, the kids were out yelling and screaming again. If you stay at this hotel, make sure you get a room away from the courtyard -- otherwise, go somewhere else!
