Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach, Honolulu

Stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. The first night we stayed on the West side next to the street, the noise was really loud all night long and we moved the following day to the East side. We really enjoyed the room and the balcony. The service was great mostly the bell and valet staff. I would stay there again!

Great location, helpful staff. A great place to sit out on the balcony and watch the world go by. Close to the International Market, walking distance to all activities, beaches, public transport, restaurants what more could you want?

it was very reasonable,room service was good ,and allways on time ,hause keeping was very helpful, whenever we needed somthing ,we felt safe, the price was affordable ,and the locatian is good

You definitely get what you pay for in this hotel. Our room was tiny, smelly, and dirty. Let me start with the bathroom. The wallpaper was filthy--literally dirt and other stains all over the wallpaper and walls. The shower was full of mildew and bits of hair as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I was afraid to shower without my flip-flops. The toilet was filthy as well. I don't consider it worth the money saved to need seat covers, flip-flops, etc. to use the bathroom. We tried to watch a movie, which was $10, but the screen kept blinking out the movie and the quality was bad. Luckily, the staff was very nice about refunding us our money for that. Additionally, the room had a refrigerator that was broken, but was fixed rather quickly. Aside from the odor size, and oldness of the room, the rest was fine. We did have a few of some decrepit building, which may have actually been part of the hotel. My husband and I swore that we were not staying in cheap hotel in a "prime" location again. Basically, I think that the star system means nothing when these hotels are located close to some big attraction, i.e. beach, waterfalls, etc.

The pool location was cozy and a great place to meet others - from all over the country. The price is great! It is just a few blocks from the ocean. Superb location! Kitchennettes are a wonderful option.

Hotel was definitely perfect example of you get what you pay for. Accommodations were not the best in the world, they were a little smaller than expected.

Location is great - a 5 minute walk to the beach and the International Marketplace. It's also close to the best nightclub in Waikiki, Zanzabar. Restaurants are all over the place as well. There's a cheap breakfast place right next door where the hotel gives you a discount. The front desk and housekeeping staff are very friendly and efficient. The pool in the back is small, but enough for a quick dip after a long day in the sun. Hot tub is rarely full, I just wish it were open past 9 pm! A few drawbacks: the parking garage was always full and we had to park in this ridiculously cramped lot a half a block away. The shower was also wierdly shaped and the temperature was difficult to control. Finally, for the rate/night, you'd expect less families and more 20-somethings, but it wasn't quite like that. That said, it is still a great value if you are a 20-something on a budget vacation. And singles have a lot to do in the area.

I chose this hotel because of it's great location. I was disapointed when I walked into the room. It was so small for the two of us. We didn't have much room to move around. The pool is only 4ft deep and the jaccuzi can only fit 4 people. The spa area had a terrible odor. I will never stay here again.
