Outrigger Islander Waikiki, Honolulu

The rooms were on the small size but clean and the staff was friendly..The balcony was half size, with tons of construction going on, so you didnt want to sit out there anyway..Hawaii was great we were in walking distance to it all...Didnt rent a car this time..took the bus..and it was fun..We will go again, and probably stay in a different place..just to shake it up a bit...

This hotel was located smack in the middle of everything that you need in Waikiki. There's a subway, pizza place, and starbucks located right at the bottom of your hotel on the street. Go 1/2 block towards beach and you've got your ABC store where you can get everything you need. You are located less than 2 blocks to the beach, and army museum. The hotel was clean, the view was okay and the price was right. Don't expect a huge pool either..it's pretty small but the beach is only 2 short blocks away! Only problem is the proximity to the construction for the Beach Walk renovation going on. You are literally next door to the construction! It didn't bother us one bit as the time difference had us up at 7 a.m. in the morning and we were out the door until after 5:00. Another problem was the parking. Make sure you get back to the hotel around 5:00 or you'll be parking across the street at the mall. It had everything we needed: a small refrigerator, a hot shower, a nice bed and a great working air conditioner. Save your money for the activities and stay at a Ohana hotel!

There is plenty of shopping and good restaurants nearby. And it is very close to the beach and the bus depot, which is across the road.

This is a pretty good place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the Waikiki scene and not spend a lot of money. The beach isn't very far away and there is plenty of places to go. Using this Hotel as just a place to crash is well....a good idea.

Loved every part of it, from the location to the shopping! OMG the best hotel ever and the hotel is really good and all the placese is really good!

This place was really awesome! We stayed here last year when we went to Hawaii! It was so worth it! We stayed for 2/3 nights before we went to Maui. The location is good, right on the beach, and its rele beautiful! I really recommend it!! Brittany
