OK, here is a very recent visit for you to make your decision by. Anyone who rates this place higher than one star has one thing on their mind - partying. If you are looking for quiet or a family environment, avoid this place at all costs. We rented unit 703, and quickly found out that we were sharing duct work with other units. When the 'neighbors' fired up their joints next door, we were overwhelmed by the smell of pot. We ended up contacting the police and leaving the place. We were denied a refund, and quite frankly, I don't care. We probably would have caught something that required medical attention from staying in the horribly nasty unit. I am not stretching the truth about the filth you will encounter at this place. It is truly disgusting. Someone vomited off of the deck above us onto our deck and it was not cleaned up by the staff after an entire day. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Unicoi Lodge or one of the cabins in the park. Great family environment and only a short drive or hike to Helen.

I stayed in one of their motel units. All of the amenities were there, including a large microwave, full-size refrigerator, coffee-maker, TV & AC. All worked very well. Room was fresh & clean when I arrived. The staff was very friendly, always asking if there was anything they could do for me. Coffee was fresh each day in the office. I definitely plan to return next year.

We walked into our room and there was only a deadbolt on the door, no lock. You had to deadbolt the door just to get it to say shut. DIRTY, FITHY AND DISGUSTING doesn't even being to explain out unit. Dust and dirt everywhere. 3 bathroom and not one good shower curtain. They were all haning by one or two eyelets. We went to the Dollar General to buy cleaning supplies and spent the first two hours of vacation cleaning just enough to get by. The floor are fake hardwood and if you are in a down stairs unit, it sounds like a heard of buffalo are roaming above you all hours of the day and night. The beds are horrible. Squeeky and disgusting. (no bed bugs, at least that we saw). Nothing worked. The ceiling fans had 1/2 inch thick dust on them. There were 5 old tv's and a role away bed in one of the bedroom closets. We had to put in in the middle of the room so that closet was accessible. They came on the 5th night (1030pm) to remove it. The couches were dirty. We placed one of thier quiltes over the couch just to sit on it. We were told this was an upgraded unit. It really looked like they went to a Flea Market to get all the furninshing for this unit. nothing matched and nothing worked. 1960's yellow flower haning light fixture that was next to a table top christmas tree.....yes....in October. Bird clock on the wall that didn't work. Fireplace in the bedroom with a sing and said it was fake. The private balcony was not private. It was ours however the ashes from the people above us fell on our heads. The next unit over had a balcony that was touching distance away. I could go on and on and on about unit 402...but I think you get the point. We also had friends in unit 703 that made 402 look good. They had to share an A/C and heating unit with 3 other condo's. So I hope everyone in three rooms could agree on a temperature. This was also not advertised. The windows in that unit didnt work and the closet shelf was laying on the floor so no cloths could be hung up. WE WILL NEVER STAY OR SUGGEST THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

After reading other reviews, I was hesitant to make reservations but needed lots of space and decided to give it a try. I booked 2 condos, 1 for my family and 1 for my cousin and his family (10 people total). We were all very pleased. Great location, great service and would definitely recommend to others.

they have recently remodeled the place and they went top of the line, hardwood and tile throughout, granite counters in kitchen and baths, all new furniture and bedding. close to everything and very well managed with very friendly people, these past reviews are not what the place is like now. It was the nicest place we have stayed at in a very long time.

Made reservations 2 wks agofor May 8-10 going to ride down on motorcycles, supposed to rain all weekend, called to cancel reservation on Wed. 6th & was told you have to cancel a week ahead of time! No one told us THAT! Being charged a $ 49 cancellation fee to credit card! Guess I should have read other reviews first too, seeing so many BAD reviews! We won't EVER go here! No more reservations without checking reviews FIRST!!!!!

This place was so nasty! We went about a month ago. I still am freaked out about it! The carpet was gross the toliet was 10 different colors, there was dirty clothes in the closet floor from a previous guest. The pillows were disgusting and there was black crap all over the bed. Looks like you would come home with more than you went down with - nasty place. The room was cold w/ no way of changing the temperature!!! I think the health department needs to see this nasty place. I wouldnt let my dog touch the floor its HORRIBLE. I had to put toliet paper on the seat of the toliet before i could sit down. NASTY NASTY NASTY!!!!!!!! I dont see how people think its decent, they must not know what nice is

we rented a one bedroom condo on the river and it was so much fun to watch the tubers during the day, and it became so calm and peaceful in the evening and the early morning. watched the geese and deer early one morning. the unit was very nice and well decorated, they are in the process of renovating all the units and are doing them up first class. it was one of our best vacations we have ever had together.

Great hotel and condo! We visit often and it is always great. Great service, great rooms, at great prices! The view is spectacular, right on the Chatahooche river, it is so much fun to watch the tubers go floating by!

We love it. We stayed at Bavarian Brook for Our Wedding. We rented the room for 3 nights and decided to stay for 5 nights.
