for the price is great hotel. no additional charge to have for your pet and the breakfast is fairly good. keep in mind that you wont get the cleanliness of the Hyatt but you are no paying near as much

Room needs to be updated. Room had a musky odor. I would not stay here again.

I must admit, I got to the hotel at the slow time of the season. The hotel was quiet. It has been recently remodeled, so it was fresh and quite nice. I've just moved from Day Inn next door, where the room was tiny, cramp bathroom and a very uncomfortable bed. So it was a big improvement for the same money. The staffs between the two chains were no comparison. At Day Inn, the staffs seem to have no cue why they were there except for pay checks vs at La Quinta, the staffs seem to have been selected for the jobs and have pride in their duties. What a good job the management of the chain has done. I have no complaint, except praise. Any one who complain about this particular hotel, should stay at Day Inn next door. I definite recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

If you are a minority, do not give them an excuse to call the police to have you kicked out. My friends and I met for a reunion. We were reminiscing about the good old times, when the police knocked on our doors and gave us 5 minutes to leave the hotel. After asking the manager why we were being asked to leave, he stated that he knew all the police in Marietta and wanted us off his property immediately. We had no choice but leave and look for another hotel in the middle of the night!
