Days Inn Gateway Savannah Ga, Savannah

This place offers good value for your money. The pool was clean and the water temperature was perfect. The television had good reception (free HBO). The staff was friendly and helpful, but a few of them spoke very little English. There are LOTS of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and this place is easily accessible from the highway. I was disappointed to find out that the Jacuzzi was out of order. But thankfully, we had a King bed room that came equipped with a whirlpool tub (big enough for two people). The bedsheets were stained, but otherwise the room was pretty clean when we arrived. When I return to the Savannah area, I will certainly put this hotel high on my list of possible places to stay. Hopefully, the jacuzzi will be up and running by then...

Spoke with Kenesha today, and had to cancel my reservation, due to a family emergency. I promise I will be back next year, because I love that place, the indoor pool and the lady in the morning who does the breakfast for everyone (she wears a hat and has braides). This motel was nasty, walls not painted, my room full of mosquitoes, sheets had holes, floor not swept! One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a motel. The attendant could not give us directions (from Bay Street in Savannah).
