Sheraton Gateway Hotel Atlanta Airport, College Park

We have a reunion every Memorial weekend here. Most of the staff are friendly and courteous. We had some complaints in 2009. We reserved our rooms well in advance but, the rooms we requested were not available. We went into the hospitality room to watch the basketball game and socialize only to have security come and tell us they had some complaints of excessive noise. We later were informed that the complaints came from airline employees who were staying at the hotel. The irony of that situation was the fact that a few guests including myself had previously complained that these same airline employees including pilots were loud and boisterous, were openly consuming alcohol and two female employees kissing and feeling each other up and down. All this with children coming in and out of the room. Several of us vowed never to fly that airline ever again. We also had difficulty getting clean towels and wash clothes one day and we complained about the cleanliness of the pool and asked to speak to a manager and a cook or kitchen employee was sent to checkout our complaint. We reserve more than one room at a time but can never get adjoining or even nearby rooms. This is a yearly event and the rates are good due to the amount of people who attend, and the breakfast buffet is good.
