A great Bed & Breakfast.
By Ted & Angie, 06/21/09
We stayed at the Foley House in their Easton Lodge room. This was our first stay in a bed & breakfast and has changed our outlook on staying anywhere else. The staff was amazing and took care of any needs that we had. They went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The Breakfasts were delicious, They offered a wine sitting daily and even put home made cakes and desserts out for the guest in the afternoon. The Rooms are to die for. The Over sized tubs were perfect at the end of an exciting day seeing Savannah. We will be staying there again and suggest this place for everyone.

Nice, but overpriced for what you get
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/08
The location was great! The historic nature of the house was beautiful! The staff is very nice and helpful, but that is where it stops. The room was way nicer on the internet, we were slightly disappointed when we arrived. There was chipping paint, you had to hold the shower head while showering, the bathroom was dated and the bed was squeaky and hard. I did not feel what was advertised was delivered. Breakfast was very good, but the tables were dainty and uncomfortable. We were place on the 4th floor and with no elevator we had to climb 2 large, steep flights of stairs to get to our room. Would have liked to be ask if this would be okay! Do not stay facing the square it is very loud late into the night (this of course was not the fault of the Foley House, but just good advice). I did get a very interesting picture of what appears to be a woman that was not in my room. I did not know this until I got home and went thru the pictures I had taken. We had heard from some "Haunted Savannah tours" outside the B&B that the place was haunted, but never felt uncomfortable or saw anything first hand. They should update or lower the price!

Fantastic!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/08/08
What a great B&B. The staff was super helpful in its recommendations on places to eat, attractions to visit, and tours to take. They even got a carriage ride for me and my new wife to pick us up directly at the B&B (very romantic at night). The location was just a few blocks from the river, so very easy to walk over to it. I always felt very safe. The room was huge and really nice. The breakfast that was served was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this place.

Just what we were hoping for

Amenities beautiful. Food excellent. Service was incredible. Gina, Jason and Miss Mamie were sweet, sociable and genuinely wonderful. They could not have made our stay more delightful. Great location. We walked everywhere.

Wonderful in every way
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/08
We had an absolutely wonderful time in Savannah. It was one of our favorite vacations. We were very pleased with the Inn. The thing we enjoyed the most was the privacy of our room, Waltham, and the quite that surrounds the building. We loved the staff they were very cautious and efficient. If one wanted to engage with them they did so graciously, if one wanted time to not converse they respected that. We particularly enjoyed Deta and Mamie. Very nice women, very helpful, and a nice asset to the environment. The food was very good, breakfast, and you serve a very good cup of coffee. We were pleased with the location of your Inn as we choose to not rent a car for the 8 days we were there. We walked the historic district and enjoyed all there was to explore. We never took a cab except to the airport. The location is perfect.

Over Rated

Food was cold and tasteless. Staff was rude. Room was old and the bed felt like it was going to collapse. Terribly over proced for what you get. Try any other place in town first.

A Perfect Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/30/08
Our room was very comfortable. We felt immediately at home. The staff was quite helpful with local tour information and worked hard to land us a reservation at a well recommended restaurant. We enjoyed the courtyards and the afternoon social events and chatting with other guests.

Wonderful pre-baby escape
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/24/08
A lovely, relaxing getaway weekend. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Shannon gives great directions. We particularly enjoyed dinner at at Noble Fare and all the vents in the historic district. You made our last "pre-baby" trip together very special. We'll certainly be back again.

Great Location

What a wonderful experience. Gina and India were fabulous from the time we entered the Inn. It was our 8th wedding anniversary and the staff did anything they could to make it a very special and memorable stay. Can't wait to return!!!! HIGHLY RECOMENDED from a fellow Hotlier (5 Diamond Property)

Fantastic Stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/09/08
We had a wonderful 15th anniversary staying at the Foley house. The house was decorated beautifully. Our room was very roomy and the fireplace was a special touch. The only downfall I can think of was the bed was a little hard. Miss Mamie and Vera took good care of us at breakfast and the food was out of this world. The special touches really made our first bed and breakfast stay wonderful.
