Beautiful location and room but no heat on a cold night and no help from the staff or innkeeper. Staff could not get heat to the room, did not offer other accommondations and innkeeper basically said, "I don't believe you and tough." Much nicer places to stay with good customer service from people who want you to return. Find somewhere else to stay. You won't regret it!

The staff is wonderful very friendly. The location is the best. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The tours will pick you up from the Inn, this is very nice. The entire staff made our stay so worth the trip to Savannah. Hands applaud....Julie,Keith,Willie,and the entire housekeeper staff. Oh yeah and Albert is such a delight at breakfast time.

We just returned from the East Bay Inn for our 10th wedding anniversary. The hotel was very clean and everyone was helpful. We were on the second floor and did not get much sleep due to the hardwood floors on the floor above us. We could here everyone above us. The inn is located close to everything so that was very nice.

We have spent our last 3 wedding anniversaries in Savannah, Ga. at the East Bay Inn. The rooms are superb, each with a unique styling. These aren't your typical cookie cutter designs, each room has exposed brick walls with roomy 4 poster beds and a separate living area with a comfortable couch, coffee and end tables and two plush side chairs. Your only one black away from the attractions on River Street and 4 blocks from Churchill's Pub. Unfortunately, the resident ghost didn't visit us this year! They have a complimentary daily continetal breakfast and happy hour. Great rates, great location, great staff add up to a great stay. KJE

The East Bay Inn was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had a room on the third floor with a lovely view with extra tall windows. This Inn exudes character and historical detail. East Bay is easy to find and convenient to the river walk shops and restaurants and trolley line. Savannah was a totally charming experience. We will return again and again.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The atmosphere was perfect. The room we stayed in had two exposed brick walls, 10 foot ceilings, and a 4-poster bed. Every night, our bed was turned down with mints and classical music was playing to welcome us back from a day of sightseeing. The staff was very polite and helpful with all requests. The only (and it is slight) downfall is the water temperature. It gets really cold in the morning. If you shower in the evening, the water is fine, so after a long day in the warm temperatures, we needed a shower anyway. Also, the location for this hotel is perfect! It is one block up from River Street and a few over from City Market with many places to eat. We especially recommend Ice Cream, Etc at City Market for a quick bite to eat, and Il Pasticcio for a great Italian meal!
