Hopefully, NEVER AGAIN!
By ,
The location is perfect for the Merchandise Mart! The hotel would rent for $50 a night if it were anywhere else. Old, "tired" rooms and the morning staff was impatient and unhelpful. I will gladly pay another $50 the next time for a refurbished hotel. Toilet ran all night and doors slammed. Some room numbers missing and were written on the wall beside the door with magic marker!

Old and run down!
By ,
Staff don't appear to be very freindly, english was not understood by the person in the store area. No dining , no bar, no ice machine that works. Floors in hall are dirty, debris in corners, hard beds. The only reason I'm here is for training seminar held in hotel.

BEWARE- Don't Stay There!!!
By ,
Where do I begin? Swimming Pool out of service, a/c not working properly, no ice, poor customer service, and when you complain to Days Inn Corporate Office, they are unable to really do anything because it's individually owned. Unbelievable! Our vacation wasturned out okay, but we dreaded going back to the hotel.

You get what you pay for.

In other words, not much. It was an adequate hotel with a good location The rooms are okay. The staff was not very friendly. Our room keys didn't work for the whole time we were there. And we were hit with a $15 per day parking fee that we were not told about when we booked the room. Next visit we'll just stay in another part of town, and drive downtown.

its cheap and clean, BYO food,
By ,
no resturant, no bar, nothing in the fridge in the room , no milk, drinks or snacks, local streets are concrete canyons with car parks at ground level, no shops or food outlets ,but handy liquor store breakfast choice limited, no fresh milk only Half n Half, an American abomination. linen , towels and room were clean and fairly quiet.small exercise gym shares with laundry, pool small, had to pay the full stay up front , room check out at 6.45 am!!! handy for local tourist spots aquaruim, childrens museum, rememberence park, and conference centre staff helpfull, maintenance request prompt. if you dont have a car you are at a big disadvantage ..no worse in this respect than all the other hotels in the area which are all in seedy locations..would not stay there again, would pay extra for the ability to eat/drink at the hotel...$20 day taxes on top of room charge..not the hotels fault but need remembered

Never Again!
By ,
I found the front desk staff helpful and polite. However that's where it ends. I was in two different rooms over a three night stay. The bathroom ceiling in the first room was falling in and the patch work was coming apart, the handle to the water fell off in my hand, floor in the bathroom was dusty and door surround was filthy and cracked. Second room was worse - mold on faucet surround in the tub, water backed up in the tub and took 10 minutes to run out even from a shower and the ceiling vent had so much dust! It was very disappointing - wish I'd read these comments before associates made reservations. It seems as if there has been a general downturn in the housekeeping and maintenance dept. over the years. Customer Care for Days Inn doesn't seem to care much either as I have written to them and all I got was a form letter. I've learned my lesson and will read these reviews before any reservations are made anywhere. A little heat in the breakfast area would have been nice!

Would reconsider
By ,
Beds were hardest I've ever slept on and linens/blankets were undersized. Balcony door worked hard even though view was great. Asked for room with fridge/microwave, but did not get. Could smell someone smoking during maid service. Continiental breakfast was minimal. Made me move my car when I checked out even though I had paid $15.00/day whikle I was there. Couldn't get a late checkout although hotel wasn't booked. Would not stay here unless desparate for a room downtown.

Absolutly Terrible Service!!!!!
By ,
I'm pretty laid back and easy going and I understand that it's hard working in customer service but I only had 1 out of 4 workers at the desk actually try and be nice to us the entire time we stayed there. They misquoted our price when we checked in and when we checked out there was no apology. On top of that I was greatly disappointed with how one of the workers treated an "international" guest that had a question; he treated her as if she was five and gave a very arrogant tone of voice to her and used very disrespectful sign language. But the maid staff was nice and did a very good job of keeping the rooms neat and clean. And the hotel now offers a complimentary breakfast. On the down side it is located down town so be prepared to shoo away beggars if you walk anywhere from this hotel. And parking will cost you $15 a night. To me the customer service is what makes the Hotel a pleasurable experience in the end and this staff was completely rude to me and the rest of the people I came with. And this isn't the first time we have had problems with this exact same hotel. I would not recommend staying at this hotel until they do something about their staff at the service desk.

NEVER AGAIN
By ,
first of all i was given a different price when i arrived to check in. Once we checked in the room and hallways smelled like mold. The a/c sounded like a f-350 revving up in the room all night. The worst beds i ever slept in, and what kinda hotel has extension cords plugged in the sockets. Pretty dangerous room. The tv would come on when it wanted to. Bathroom door would not close all the way. Just terrible. Anyone wishing to visit atlanta should stay the hell away from this hotel, believe me. The cafe had 2 peices of bread and oj to choose from. Last of all don't try to sit outside to enjoy the view of downtown, you might just get a glass of drink thrown down on you from the top floors. This hotel just need to be torn down it's probably the worth in the downtown area.
