The Peabody Orlando, Orlando

My boss and me have been staying at the Peabody every year for the International Builders Show for many years now. But this year it has been imposible to get a room for the coming event in February. We have tried everything and they inform us that all rooms are committed. It is a pitty to know that customers like us (which we think there should be more) have no opportunity to get a room, as every year we have.

i liked the peabody club because i got a complimentary breakfast acess to the gym and the concierge.

The Peabody has it all. My room had a computer with Internet and a balcony over looking the atrium. The pools and spas are the best in town, and there is much to keeps the kids busy. The restaurants, there are several, were top notch. This is a great place to stay in the Orlando area.

Classy and affordable. Peabody Hotel at International Drive is a great location for many Orlando attractions. The ambiance is a nice break from the crows at Magic Kingdom. The ducks are fun.

Everything there is so clean and luxirous. This is the perfect hotel in the whole world. Staff is super, everything is!

...this is the place. I have never been to such a luxurious hotel! It was luxurious yet the atmosphere was not "stuffy". This place knows how to treat you right!! I will be going back any chance I get! You've gotta try it ... you'll fall in love with place just as we did.

My first thought was the fact that everything about the hotel is in reference to ducks. We caught the "march of the ducks" on our first day and it is bogus. 5 ducks walk down a carpet into a fountain. That's it. They don't do tricks. They don't sing. They just walk and swim and eat. Big freakin deal. Then they have these stupid duck logo on everything in the hotel from the soap to the elevators. The hotel itself is nice, but not glamourous. It is comparable to an Hilton. The rooms are OK, nothing extravagant. The beds are borderline uncomfortable, as they are lumpy and the sheets are not fitted so they move around a lot as you turn- so if you are not a lay still sleeper, you will find yourself sleeping on the bare matress by morning. The A/C goes on and off every 3 minutes and is loud when it clicks on. There are TV's in the bathroom over the toilet, which are worthless. They charge you a $10 daily fee for wi-fi and bottled water, which is not optional. The gift shop is weak and the workers there are rude. The positives are that the hotel is a 10 min walk to the convention center by walkway, which is about as close as you can get to the OCCC. The Cappricio restaurant was excellent- the steak was so tender, you could have used a spoon to cut it. The sports bar is relaxed and they have entertainment every night. Overall, this hotel is above average, but not extravagent like they try to make themselves out to be. This is a 3 1/2 star hotel with a 5 star hotel price. I would stay here again if I had to, but I would rather get the free drinks from the Embassy Suites just up the road.

We stayed for three nights at The Peabody - a beautiful top class hotel. I can't praise the staff enough. We had a small problem with our bath that couldn't be rectified and the Front Desk Manager, Rachel, plus the staff could not have been more helpful. We were moved immediately to a better room. We just left our bags, went out for the day and all was done for us.

When I visited the Peabody, the was the staff on top of everything. Nothing went unnoticed. The cleanliness of the hotel, the duck crossing, the friendliness of the hotel staff and the eagerness to help their guest was amazing. I would definately go back and stay there any time I am in Orlando!

The bed was absolutley spectacular. We have never had a night of sleep in such a wonderful bed. We would go back just for that. Oh yeah of course the ducks, you can't miss the marching of the ducks, very cool!!
