Would love to go back!
By ,
We stayed for three nights at The Peabody - a beautiful top class hotel. I can't praise the staff enough. We had a small problem with our bath that couldn't be rectified and the Front Desk Manager, Rachel, plus the staff could not have been more helpful. We were moved immediately to a better room. We just left our bags, went out for the day and all was done for us.

Not 4 stars
By ,
Not impressed by what is supposed to be a luxury hotel, because of modest rooms, poor food and high prices. The room on the "club floor" was small, with nothing particularly luxurious about it. The bed was ridiculously soft, having an ill-fitting overly soft 4" pad on top of a pillow-top mattress - like sleeping on a giant bean-bag. The bathroom has a Toto toilet with a small flat-screen TV behind it. The tub had an awkward partial wall at one end that forced the cheap plastic liner into the tub area, making for a claustrophobic shower. You get 2 filtered waters for $10 and some nice robes. The food at the "Diner" was not fresh, maybe prepared offsite? They charged me $4.5 for a double espresso to go, making Starbucks cheap by comparison. The room service pizza was mediocre - seemed like something frozen or microwaved, missing a key ingredient (tomato sauce) and having stale toppings - but it did come with a 22% tip and room service fee! Thanks. Our table stayed outside the room until the next morning. I opted for the club level room deal, which covered valet parking for 2 days and concierge breakfast and hors d'oeuvres which were mixed in quality. At the Hilton concierge I get free drinks, they charged for drinks here. I guess stay here if you need to be by the convention center, otherwise look for a full service Hilton or the JW Marriott or one of the theme hotels like Hard Rock. If you’re looking for luxury in particular, the JW Marriott Orlando is much more luxurious with marble floors and standing shower stall and newer amenities overall, very good restaurants and a beautiful free-form pool.

Great Hotel!
By ,
Husband & I went. Hotel beautiful. Rooms large, beds comfortable, service was the best! Everyone who works there smiles and is helpful. Food excellent, great diner on premises you can take-out food back to room. Great location, bus goes main road - lots of restaurants. Can't wait to go back.

Enjoyed our stay!
By ,
We booked through a discounted travel website. We were treated tremendously well by the staff. We requested a king room (even though the website would only allow us to book a double), an early check-in, and a late check-out. The staff happily granted all our requests without any hesitation. We dined in the B-Line diner - Asian Big Bowl and Quesedillas were delicious. We also tried some desserts - they were average to above average. Pool was wonderful and not crowded. Everything is a bit pricey, but nothing out of the ordinary for this type of hotel. Great location - close to the theme parks, but far enough away to be peaceful. Hotel is right next to convention center. The bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable!

Vacation at the Peabody!
By ,
The Peabody is beautiful on the outside and in. Friendly staff, helpful walk-in check in, great information about the surronding area. Nick and I, are a young couple which sometimes gets us negative attention from the get go however, the staff was amazing. Clean rooms, well stocked batrooms, comfortable cotton robes :) good diner. The salon manicure was expensive with poor results. Loved are short stay at the Peabody!

Best for shows comute
By ,
My boss and me have been staying at the Peabody every year for the International Builders Show for many years now. But this year it has been imposible to get a room for the coming event in February. We have tried everything and they inform us that all rooms are committed. It is a pitty to know that customers like us (which we think there should be more) have no opportunity to get a room, as every year we have.

Nice but expensive
By ,
I and my hubby went on vacation between may26 and june2.The hotel itself was very nice, orchids and marble everywhere, cute accent was that they had a"duck march",every day from 11am to 5pm the hotel had real ducks swimming in the fountain.Hotel rooms were very clean, nice clean bathrooms and you get a cute duck shaped soap too,the sheets were changed every morning and the staff was really pleasant and polite. We didnt get a chance to try the high end restaurants located in the hotel,we only had a chance to try the one called the B-line,it was ok kinda like a 60's diner, the staff was treating us poorly becouse we would only order desert so i guess they didnt think they would get a big enough tip,the deserts though were really really good, you should try "better than chocolate" cake and cookies'n'cream ice cream, very deliciuos. The hotel had an almost olympic size pool, kiddie pool, cabanas,an outdoor bar and some souvenir shops. We liked the bar called "Mallards" i believe its called, its located close to the duck fountain right in the middle of the hotel.I dont have any complaints about our check in or check out,we checked in got our room keys and were on our way.If you do get your room on a higher floor, you will get a very nice view of the surrounding buildings,or the pool. The overall experience was pretty good,i think the rooms are a bit overpriced. The $10 per nigh fee was a big surprise, nobody told us about it,they charge you for internet,no matter if you brought your laptop with you or not,2 bottles of water and a newspaper and no,you cant choose either you want those things or not the fee still applies. We were tired and didnt feel like arguing so we paid, but we think its kindof ridiculous to be charged extra for that,i suppose they could just add the fee to the overall room price, but not just surprise you like that. Be prepared to pay the fee.So overall the hotel was nice and our vacation went smoothly.Good luck with yours:)

Never again
By ,
When I booked these rooms, I was suppose to be in Dulex King rooms, but when I checked in they wouldn't give them to us. Also they wasnted to charge us to even use the gym. I will NEVER stay at this property again. The hotel is beautiful, but the staff could care less about any problems we may have had.

Bad experience for a high price
By ,
The Peabody is a beautiful looking hotel with nice rooms. That ends the things I liked about this hotel. The service was terrible. There were not enough people working to meet the needs of the guests. When you want anything you must be prepared to wait in slow moving line. Many of the servers seemed bothered to have to deal with so many people. There were no towels at the pool and no place to really seat. It was over crowded and underserved. I would have rather had good service, a cup of coffee and a smile.
