Shoreline Island Resort Motel, Madeira Beach

Liked it's proximity to John's Pass, restaurants, etc. without being in a congested, loud area. We've stayed there 5 or 6 times and will always try to stay there when in the area. Very reasonable rates, very friendly and helpful staff. I love being able to pick out books in the office to read while sitting out at the pool or beach and also the "Free Videos" to watch that are in the office also. I would definitely recommend staying here. They also have beach chairs available (no charge to use) and also have complimentary Barbeque Grills to use. I do not know of too many places that have all of these amenities, especially free of charge. The whole atmosphere is cozy and family like. We always meet a lot of nice people while out by the pool or just milling around.

Been coming here for the last 12 years. Clean and quiet place to relax. Great beach and lots of things to do in the surrounding area. I am looking forward to my 9 day stay in June 08.

We've been going here for 20 plus years, always clean, no children or unregistered quest at the pool. Wally and Diane's favorite place to go.

My husband and I spent a few days at the Resort and enjoyed it . Good location,directly at the gulf and calm. We are looking forward for our next stay.

We have been to the Shoreline about 4 times over the past ten years. If you enjoy the quiet (no children) yet the sound of waves (especially when you awake in the morning) enjoy a walk along the beach (miles of sand) enjoy people watching (kite flying on Sundays) and the local charm of nearby beachside bar and local eateries, then this is the place for you. Rooms are apartment size with kitchenettes, most with view of the Gulf, comfortable beds, recliners (two), and an easy walk to local restaurants (menus in lobby along with books, videos to borrow). Pool is medium-size but kept clean. Great place to play shuffelboard or just to lounge and look for dolphins. Service is a bit slow but responsive to your needs.

Have stayed here 8 times and have no desire to stay anywhere else -- best on the beach --- love the over 21 atmosphere a great place to get away and relax and have fun
