Not too comfortable or convenient
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/07
The hotel is old but clean. It does have a musty/old smell. The pool was clean. The location was good - short drive to the beach, restaurants and convenience stores. The room was very small (2 adults and 2 children were very uncomfortable) and came without a coffee pot, iron/ironing board, and a clock. Housekeeping staff was super. The front desk staff acted annoyed when we would ask them anything. They had a complimentary breakfast but all that was offered was a dozen bagels, a dozen mini muffins and bread with a toaster. Coffee was the only drink offered. It was a good thing that the hotel wasn't full when we stayed or there wouldn't have been anything to grab to eat on our way out. If you need a place to sleep while on vacation, I recommend this hotel. However, if you plan to spend anytime in the room, I'd find somewhere else to stay. We did not spend a lot of time in the room, but I do feel that the price is a little high for what is offered and the several inconveniences it caused. Overall, nothing major. It all depends on how comfortable and convenient you want your stay to be.

Got what I paid for
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/07/07
This is not the Ritz-Carlton...but for the price, It was Sufficient. The biggest plus was Location...Location...Location..right in the middle of it all. The Civic Center accross the stree...Seville Quarter 4 blocks and the beach just a short drive away.

Good for what you pay
By A Yahoo! User, 06/28/06
Perfect price perfect location. We lost our home to Katrina and have been searching homes in Pensacola, so no need to spend a fortune to spend a night. Rooms are fair to good. Bed was comfortable on the soft side. The shower has awesome pressure-not keen on their shower curtain for it was material and shower wet the entire bathroom-I called for extra towels and received them quickly. The location is perfect if you intend to go to the local downtown bars and resturants. I generally am picky about where I stay but no matter where it is I Lysol everything before I stay there-yes I even sprayed Lysol at Starwood Hotels so to me this place is fine to stay if you only plan to sleep and shower.

Always Great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/06
I have stayed here many times. I am a college student who is planning relocation to Pensacola. I stay here everytime I am in town to interview or look at real estate. The staff is great. The rooms are old but clean and acceptable. The price is perfect. If you are looking for a luxury stay go somewhere and pay $180 a night. If you are looking for clean, safe, friendly and excellent location, this is the place for you. The poor reviews on this site are probably isolated incidents. One last thing, I love the pool....

My girlfreind and I had to stop for and emergency we heard of seville inn and decided to stop. For one the service was horrible. We get into our room and it stank. one bed had stains from who knows what on the sheets. If that wasnt enough there was 2 cockroaches in the sink.

Run, and run fast!
By Jim, 01/26/06
Stayed Memorial Day Weekend 2005. Bette Davis couldn't have said it better...."What a dump!" The carpet was badly stained, looked like the floor of an oil change shop. The A/C reeked of bleach, took over 4 hours for the odor to dissipate, WITH the door AND window open for that length of time. The mattress was as firm as a piece of foam. Asked the front desk for a replacement, no kings were available, but they replaced it with a double mattress. Would have been better off sleeping on the floor, but not for fear of what was on or in that carpet! The parking lot is crack alley. Just don't go there!

I travel alot and this is a good value.
By Richard D, 01/11/06
I've been a returning customer for many years and the service has always been excellent - friendly and efficient. They have have maintained fair priced lodging and haven't raised prices very much even after two hurricanes. When I was there recently the parking area was in need of some help but I'm willing to better that was a result of a years worth of heavy work trucks when many construction works were housing after the hurricanes. I have found some rooms to be of a lower quality (i.e. non working television, AC unit, etc.) than others but any complaints I had were quickly addressed by the staff and I was offered a different room. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a family on vaction but for a single person in town on business or just to enjoy a night out without a risk drive home it is a great value.

Great Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/22/05
The Seville Inn is doing a great job accomodating guests. They are trying to pull themselves together after two major hurricanes. It is an old hotel but they are doing a great job at working with their guests and doing what they can to make the guests stay as pleasurable as possible.
