TradeWinds Sandpiper Hotel and Suites is a beachfront hotel located on the gulf coast barrier island of St. Pete Beach, approximately 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport. The resort is situated on five acres of beachfront property lining the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. Within ten miles of the hotel are Tropicana Field, Saint Petersburg Pier, Salvador Dali Museum, and Fort de Soto. Hotel amenities include the private cabanas on the beach, two heated pools including one for adults only as well as a spa, and fitness center. The hotel also features a lobby bar called Perks Up and serves coffee style drinks, cocktails and pastries daily. All rooms are non smoking and have bright tropical decor, CD players, hypo-allergenic down comforters, wireless Internet access, granite countertops, lighted makeup mirrors in the bathroom, cable TV with On Demand services and pay per view movies, voicemail, modem connections, safes, clock radios, hairdryers, and irons. This hotel is a Green Lodging Resort which caters to specific environmental concerns.
