Everything was perfect until midnight...

Walking through the front doors I thought, this hotel is exactly what I imagined a South Beach hotel to be--hip and arty. The lobby is sparse and modern. The front desk clerk let us check in early which was very helpful. Our suite was fabulous--clean, well-appointed, spacious, and with a magnificent, roomy bathroom. Downstairs, there were actually chaise lounges to be had by the pool (in addition to a quick walk to beach loungers, too). Drinks were flowing at the poolside bar. We were a quick walk from everything--Lincoln Road restaurants and shops, and other must-visit hotels like the Delano (for people watching) and the Raleigh (for the spectacular pool area). And at a special rate, I was convinced I had stumbled upon the find of the century.
Then, it was time to turn in. Doing so, I realized there was no top sheet on the bed. Just a fitted sheet and a comforter/bedspread. Now, normally, I toss the bedspread/comforter aside as soon as I walk in the room because, well, we all know those are laundered about as frequently as a comet sighting. So, I called down to the front desk to ask for a top sheet. No problem. It will be right up. Thirty minutes later, no sheet. I call back. No problem, it's on its way. An hour later, no sheet. Now, it's past midnight and I'm fuming. I call the front desk, angry. Nothing. Complaining the next morning elicited no response. Insult to injury, upon returning home, my bill reflected a minibar charge that we had not incurred. (That was corrected after calling to have it removed.)
I would consider staying at the Sagamore again because of the amenities and the location, but I would definitely throw back the comforter upon check in...
