Awesome location, bad housekeeping

I stayed here for two nights when they were booked for the Pepsi 400 and a space shuttle launch during Summer 2006.
It was very easy to find and close to the interstate, but not so close that the traffic was a noise problem. It also is right along the main road that will lead you the Kennedy Space Center if you head east, or to Orlando if you head west.
When we first got in our room, the AC had been left off, so it took a couple of hours to get the room cooled down. We also had some floors that needed vacuuming pretty bad. They never were cleaned up while we were there. Housekeeping did the usual stuff... made the beds, took out the trash, and replaced the towels. But that was about it from what I could tell. They didn't replace our plastic cups, give us a new ice bucket bag or change the sheets.
The pool was nice for an outside one since it was upgraded a year ago or so.
The price wasn't terrible considering you're in Florida and all of the activities going on for a weekend. It was a basic hotel that could have been really great if the housekeeping did it's job better.
