Palace Hotel, Orlando

We stayed there for a night and the place was horrible. You can get a better deal anywhere else for the same (or lesser) price. It used to be Howard Johnson, but they have dropped this hotel from their list. Here's a list of things we found wrong * Room stinks * Dirty carpets * Mold in bathroom * Dirty tub * Light doesn't work * TV remote doesn't work * No alarm clock in the room * No heating iron, but there is a ironing board * No coffee pot * Smelly bed sheets * Loose electrical socket (fire hazard??) * Ice maker in lobby doesn't work * Was itching in the morning (bed bugs or mosquito?) ** Best of all - the phone in the room had the word "Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort" ... hmmm I wonder if ..... If you think I made up this list, just ask to see a room before you sign up. John B.
