Days Inn Kennedy Space Center, Titusville

I stayed at this same hotel last year for a family reunion and my husband and I were promptly told we were getting a room in which a man had previously commited suicide with a gunshot to the head. Great customer service, huh?! We had to stay there again because it was for a last minute funeral and everything was either sold out, or much more expensive. Checking in and out were no hassle this time. The room was fairly comfortable, but very old looking. The sheets didn't seem to fit on the beds correctly, because the mattress was peeking out from the bottom of the top sheet. One of the pillow cases looked like it had makeup on it and hadn't even been washed. The place isn't a total nightmare, but if you can stay somewhere else, like the Best Western, for around the same price, definitely do so. If you have to stay at Days, it probably won't be awful, but you'll probably have had better stays elsewhere.
