Get ready to be SPOILED!!

My husband and I just returned from our Honeymoon at LaPlaya in Naples, FL. The beach and resort are beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff are ready to serve. Champagne and sunsets...don't get me started! This was a wonderful place for our honeymoon or anytime we want to be spoiled. We hope to go back for future anniversarys!!

Hotel was nice, could use an update in the rooms, beach was great and the help gracious. The pool was hot and badly needs updating, the rest rooms were just plain nasty...I would love to return hopefully they get the message and maybe go back!

Good resort but lacking in food service options

Very nice rooms, pools and beach and great spa services. Also excellent conference sevices. The issue we had is that there is only one restaurant with a small lounge and it is very expensive and there is no place else in walking distance. There is a "Tiki Hut" outdoor bar and restaurant, which works for lunch but the hours vary without notice and it might close at dusk and leave no alternative but the dining room for dinner. There is not even a cafe for a cup of coffee in the morning. Would probably be very enjoyable if money were no object but even though I could afford it, I don't like to be ripped off. Even Ritz Carltons offer lower cost alternatives for food service. I simply do not want to spluge at every meal. Have to attend another conference there in a couple of weeks, so I'll see if they have provided other options this time.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

I live in Boca Raton, Florida and travel to Naples often. I called prior to making a reservation and was told there was a kids club up to age 13, and that there were tons of things to do for kids. I told the agent on the phone that I was concerned b/c the weather was forecasted to be cold and she assured me that the kids activities would be adjusted for the weather. I am staying here now and there is NOTHING TO DO FOR KIDS. ALL BEACH ACTIVITIES ARE CLOSED (even though it is beautiful but chilly out), THERE IS NO KIDS CLUB. I spoke to the manager and she suggested we rent movies in our room or rent a board game. I am extremely upset. I work very hard as an attorney, get little time away with my kids, and did not expect to be misled by a 4 stay resort. Take my advice, stay at the Ritz, the Naples Beach Resort, or other 4 and 5 star resorts that I have stayed at that do stand by their word.

Loved it

I loved the expedient service you received everywhere you went on the property. The Valet parking attendants were awesome. I plan to go back as often as possible. All those negative comments almost scared me off but I am glad we looked past them. I met some awesome people as well as spent some well needed rest on the beach. The room (Baytower) was clean , beautiful and spacious.

great place we were with children 2and 4 years old and they enjoyed every day we ate 8 meals in our room just wonderful we sailed with the children ,the pool was great also had lunch and drinks by pool

Best In Naples for our group

Did some snoopin around, this is the best set up people. Listen I have a group every year for our annual conferance and meetings then we stay couple days later with the familys to make a nice little break out of it. I always have sought perfection and this is the only choice, not the Ritz. In my opinion the Ritz is a big hunk of junk wrapped in a red bow. Bayfront is good though I like everyone there and they run a good joint but Laplaya is the only way to go. Well thats my input hopefullly it helps when you need a group or family outing. See you there...I will be the one with a tan, and a big grin from ear to ear! :)

Beautiful Hotel

The Hotel is beautiful and the service was classy - not all over you. The people that wrote the negative reviews must be use to Holiday Inn. Our room was very clean and bright. The view from the tower over a white sand beach is gorgeous. This is a place to relax not a place for spring break kids or obnoxious families. If you want that go to Ft. Lauderdale, this is NAPLES!

Everything about this place is fantastic, food-service-location. I have already set up a future of constant visits. Worth every penny. Our family was blessed by our visit, I honestly cannot say anymore.

Had a long stay here and what a mistake. The rooms are in definite need of updating and the cleaning of the room left alot to be desired. Do not like coffee making facilities in the bathroom! Over priced and over rated, never again!
