We went her back in 2006. I am planning another trip to Orlando this year and plan to stay here. We travel with 4 Children so it is easier for us to have one room instead of two. OUr room cam with Two Queen Beds and a pullout sofa, a microwave and a frig. We were so tired some days from the parks that we just ordered pizza and had it delivered. It has a really nice pool area, Laundry, onsite store, Resteraunt and arcade. We really loved this place! I found this by going on Priceline and named my own price... $30 a night!

I would like to know if the resort has really changed into one of those weekly motels? My family and I were there in 2006 and it was wonderful, but what I am hearing is that it has really gone downhill. What a shame if this it true. I was hoping to stay there again.

liked convenience and people,spacious rooms we were there for 2 weeks and enjoyed wevery day. the only thing was not having our (beds changed enough for that long of a period. already planning trip this time with bot grandsons for jan.2008

Staying here was a mistake and we should not have listened to our travel agent who recommended this place since we didn't have kids. We were put next to the laundry room. Every morning we were woken 6am by the machines. It sounded like a kid banging hangers all morning. The shuttle was a joke. The times for pick up and drop off were lousy and you couldn't even be one minute late or it would leave. I think the parks were much further away then the miles they tell you. We had to keep paying for taxis because the shuttle times were so limiting. We never ate there because the restaurant looked like a dive and was always way overcrowded. Did not like the dark and dingy path to walk to the pool. This motel had nothing to offer. It really pays not to be cheap! Definetly worth a refund!

My husband and I went to the Resort as part of our Land/Cruise honeymoon and we were pleasantly surprised at the hotel. The ticket counter in the lobby offered great discounts on theme parks. The pool area was wonderful. We absolutely loved the Lobster buffet at the adjacent "Angels". We can't wait to go back!

I used a travel agent and expected to be staying in a great Hotel. This hotel has been bought by another company called Home Suite Home. It is nothing like what I expected. I will never stay there again. I actually called my travel agent and we were moved to another hotel. Yes that is how bad it was. People actually live there now and pay rent. I do not recommend this place. If you want a great place to stay find a real Holiday Inn or another hotel chain.

Would strongly encourage people to stay clear of this hotel..Just remember in life you get what you pay for!!! We booked the hotel for 12 days, and stayed one day...Between the roaches & musty smell we went else where...

We were very dissappointed in our stay at the Holiday Inn Nikki Bird, which is now called Home Suite Home. They advertised that they have high speed internet when they did not, we had mold growing on our bathroom wall, there was a company painting the building why we were there and paint was splattered everywhere, they started pressure spraying our outside wall and door at 7:30 am on a Saturday, and the only cabs that leave their hotel do not have a meter and are 30% higher than the metered cabs that we took back to the hotel from the parks. They advertised a free shuttle to and from Walt Disney World, but the shuttle only left once a day at 11:00am and we were never able to find the return shuttle that was suppossed to take us back to the hotel from the park. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!

Just got back from Disney World. Took my 6 year old for her first trip to Disney World. I actually chose this hotel because I got a discount through my job. Got there and the hotel was actually like it said it would be. The layout of the entire facility was excellent. It has 3 big pools, 2 restaurants on the inside. It was clean and quiet. Excellent location, right in the middle of just about every restaurant you want to go to just in case you don't want to eat at the inide place, shopping etc. Best of all, not even 5 minutes from the entrance of Disney World.
